Now that we are well into its second season, the arrival of Overwatch 2 Season 3 may just be around the corner. Though the launch date hasn’t explicitly been announced by Blizzard themselves, that hasn’t stopped us from predicting when it could be based on previous release windows.
As always, the upcoming season is sure to bring more exciting content to the popular team-based FPS title. So in order to help you prepare for it, we’ve written down our expected start time for the game’s approaching third season.
Overwatch 2 Season 3 Predicted Start Time
We expect Overwatch 2 Season 3 to begin at 12 PM PST / 3 PM EST / 8 PM GMT. This has typically been the time frame for previous chapter releases and we believe it’ll remain the same once again.
Keep in mind that once Season 2 ends, there will most likely be a maintenance period afterwards to introduce the changes that are coming in with the new chapter. Most of the additions that players can expect include unique limited-time modes, new skins, and possibly new operators and maps since this has often been the strategy for Blizzard in the past.
One thing we’re sure of, though, is that the developers will be applying plenty of bug fixes to the game based on the complaints of the community. The start of a new season is the perfect time to introduce these changes and it’s very probable that the next patch contains a number of important updates.
Unfortunately, Blizzard is yet to announce the actual start time yet so this may still end up changing. However, we will continue to update this page with the latest information as soon as we’ve received it.
