Overwatch Chinese New Year Content Arrives Next Week

Chinese New Year will be celebrated in Overwatch with at least two new skins for heroes Mei and D. Va, the game’s Twitter has revealed.

The new content will arrive on January 24, with Chinese New Year beginning a few days later on January 28. The Year of the Rooster.

There’s also the expectation that the skins will form part of loot boxes, each containing four items such as Skins, Emotes, Victory Poses, Voice Lines, Sprays and Highlight intros.

Given the new Oasis map only launched earlier this year it seems unlikely the event will also see the release of a new map.
