Rocket Panda Games released a new trailer of the upcoming 2D fighting game Phantom Breaker: Omnia revealing two playable characters. This time around we get the reveal of two new ladies, Maestra and Artifactor, bringing the roster up to 20 characters. This follows another trailer featuring Mikoto, one showcasing Itsuki, one featuring Waka, one starring Yuzuha, one showcasing Ren, and one focusing on Ria. Paradox Interactive accrued over $500,000 in relief for the coronavirus crisis, through a short sale of its games at the start of the month (via GamesIndustry.biz). Last month, Twitch’s StreamAid 2020 raised almost $3 million for that fund, of which Ubisoft donated $150,000 to the total. Jagex, developer of Runescape, gave £100,000 to three mental health charities in the UK, and boosted the number of in-game events and online activities to entertain players through isolation....

The Power Rangers franchise may be about to see some big changes. Microsoft has announced that chicken-loving shooter PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has notched up over eight million players worldwide on Xbox One. To celebrate the milestone, the console maker has announced a new Xbox One bundle featuring a full download of PUBG Corp’s battle royale juggernaut, a 1TB console, and 1-month Xbox LIVE Gold/Game Pass trial. The PUBG Xbox One bundle will go on sale for $499 later this week. PUBG is also available on PC and mobile, although the Xbox One edition is usually a few months behind the PC version in terms of content updates....

The first two DLC Operators for Rainbow Six Siege will release on February 2, 2016, Ubisoft has confirmed. The characters will be available exclusively to Season Pass holders for one week before rolling out to all other players. Red Dead Redemption 2’s file size has been leaked because of an online store posting. As RockstarIntel reported, the game will require a minimum storage space of 105GB. That’s pretty huge. On top of that, the listing – which is for the Red Dead Redemption 2 PS4 Pro bundle – also reveals that PlayStation users will receive content for the game that’s ‘Timed Exclusive for 30 days.’ Further details list the online mode – which won’t available from launch, but will roll out in public beta in November – will support 2-32 players....

Capcom has announced it is bringing a stream-only version of pant-wetting horror sequel Resident Evil 7: Biohazard to Nintendo Switch this month.
