The highly anticipated Street Fighter 6 just received a new trailer in today’s PlayStation: State of Play presentation, and it promises to shake up the series in a big way. Not only does it display more of the hip-hop aesthetic that the previous trailer teased, but it also shows some gameplay of a semi-open RPG-esque exploration segment. Perhaps this entails some sort of new story mode? The trailer kicks off with a view of a Times Square-esque area of Metro City, packed with Easter eggs referencing the entire series....

Ubisoft plans to introduce a new ‘Hardcore’ playlist to Rainbow Six Siege next year that offers a “more realistic” experience, the publisher has revealed. Discussing the new playlist on the game’s forums, Ubisoft explained that it had yet to confirm exactly how the playlist will differ to the current ‘Casual’ and ‘Ranked’ playlists, but that it was considering reducing the game’s HUD, removing teammate outlines and score indicators, and displaying mag count instead of ammo count....

The new Resident Evil 2 demo update removes the time limit, letting fans explore the Raccoon City Police Department at their leisure, though it also adds a creepy new easter egg to help build hype for the upcoming Resident Evil 3 remake that’s due out next year....

Riot Games’ online multiplayer first-person shooter Project A was announced several months ago. In the past week, however, leaks regarding the project have been growing in quantity. Project A’s official name is reported to now be Valorant. Several of Valorant’s characters also leaked, including names, designs, and clips of their abilities. Another Valorant leak has now been discovered, revealing several high-quality screenshots of Valorant’s gameplay.
