Remedy Partners With Epic Games To Publish Its Next Two Titles

Remedy Entertainment has entered a partnership with Epic Games to publish its next two titles (via SP1ST). At the beginning of this year, the developer had four projects in the pipeline. Number one and two are The Foundation and AWE DLCs for the kooky shooter Control. Number three is an “unannounced game,” and number four is an online multiplayer game, worked on by the small “startup” team, Vanguard. Now, Remedy has revealed that its next two titles will be made in collaboration with Epic Games....

Resident Evil 3 Remake Has Sold Over 5 Million Copies Worldwide

After the success of the Resident Evil 2 remake, Capcom quickly capitalized on that and announced and released the Resident Evil 3 remake for PC and consoles. And since the game’s launch back in April 2020, Capcom has announced that it’s officially surpassed 5 million copies sold globally. This figure comes from sales calculated across all three platforms: PS4, Xbox One, and PC, and it’s a pretty significant milestone especially when you consider that RE3 isn’t quite as popular as the more iconic Resident Evil 2....

Pax East Preview Streets Of Rage 4

One of the cooler indie reveals from last decade has to be Streets of Rage 4. After years without an official follow-up from Sega, it took the combination of DotEmu, Lizardcube, and Guard Crush Games to revive this classic series. With beat-em-ups sort of back in vogue thanks to the indie scene, what better time than now to take to the streets and unleash some rage? At PAX East last year, DotEmu was on the floor with an exceptionally early build of the game....

Peace Is Not An Option In Netflix S Resident Evil Show Teaser Trailer

Yesterday, Netflix teased a teaser for its upcoming Resident Evil show. The result of this teaser-ception is a trailer that, if not for the Resident Evil name, looks like your standard zombie affair. There are nods to the Umbrella Corporation, of course, because it’s always Umbrella. But beyond that, we’re looking at your popcorn zombie romp. There are shots of what appear to be Lickers, and they look damn scary. Oh, and if you have a fear of spiders, you might want to find something else to watch....

Pentiment Review An Artistic Marvel

The world “pentiment” refers to “a mark left by an earlier painting that shows where an artist made changes.” If you have a keen eye, you’ll notice these tiny details, implying that the artist originally had something else in mind. That brings us to Pentiment, a murder mystery game from Obsidian Entertainment. There’s not a lot we can divulge, as providing too many specifics would spoil how the story goes. However, it’s clear that Pentiment is an intricately crafted offering, one that manages to captivate in spite of some glaring flaws....

Phantasy Star Online 2 Review Don T Get 2 Close 2 My Phantasy

I can’t believe it took nearly eight years for Phantasy Star Online 2 to get an official Western release, but here we are. I dumped hundreds of hours into the game years ago on the Japanese servers, and while I was very taken with it then, time has been less than kind to it. Once you add in the new problems included due to the Microsoft Store, you’re left with a worse version of a dated game that’s nearly half a decade behind the easily playable Japanese version....

Playstation Trophy Hunter Sets World Record By Earning 50 Platinums In 20 Hours

A YouTuber earned 50 platinum trophies on PlayStation 4 in just 20 hours and no, that is not a typo. Playing a game from the beginning to its natural end is no longer considered completing a game. We mean, in many cases, it never really was. The very first Sonic games weren’t 100% complete unless a player found all of the chaos emeralds. Crash Bandicoot games aren’t over until all of the crystals and relics have been discovered....

Pok Mon X Vs Y Which Version Has The Better Legendary Pok Mon

The sixth generation represented a wild time for Pokémon fans. Powerhouses like Mega Kangaskhan were tearing up the competitive scene and claiming more souls than a Kangaskhan ever had any right to, the fresh new Fairy typing had landed… what a time to be alive. Pokémon X and Y didn’t bring very much to the table when it came to Legendary Pokémon, though. Both titles featured Zygarde, Mewtwo and the Legendary bird trio (Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres)....

Psa Avoid Your Console Apps For Video Streaming If You Can

Picture this. You just finished up a session of Overwatch 2 with the squad, and now it’s time to chill with some Netflix. Sure, you could use the built-in app on your Smart TV, or switchover to your Chromecast, but that’s a lot of effort. Both Sony and Microsoft have been kind enough to include all your favorite media apps, including a native Disney+ app on PS5 at last! But the cost of that convenience is higher than you might think....
