UPDATE: Ubisoft has said that the beta will actually end next Monday, September 28, not October 5 as listed by PlayStation Store. That means players will have just five days to play the beta, rather than the 12 previously reported. “We know this is a relatively short testing period, but we decided that this would be enough time to identify the issues we need to address without tying up our development team for too long as they work to ship the game for a December 1st launch,” Rainbow Six Siege community developer Chase Straight says....

Rainbow Six Siege is no stranger to themed events. The recent cowboy and toy-themed events were both unexpected delights. This time horror is the name of the game. The Doktor’s Curse Halloween event starts today and runs for the next two weeks. Some serious effort and goofy lore have been packed into Doktor’s Curse, as expected from the precedent set by the last two events. Everyone’s favorite spawn-peeker Doc has gone a little nutty....

Red Dead Redemption has yet to hit store shelves but already developer, Rockstar Games have unveiled that the upcoming western epic will receive a free DLC pack shortly after the games release. Entitled ‘Outlaws to the End’ the DLC will bring six new co-operative missions for 2-4 players to experience, as well as adding new Achievements and Trophies. It is scheduled to hit the 360 Marketplace and PSN sometime in June for the amazing price of $0....

Got some good news for the isekai fans out there regarding one of the best anime the genre has to offer. Yes indeed, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime is officially getting a third season. Sadly at this time, we don’t have much to share with you about a possible premiere date for this third season, but the series is moving right along, so we might see it before the end of 2023....

Overall, I think 2018 was a strong year for PC games. There was plenty of exploring to do and people that needed killing. These are the games that pulled me in and kept me playing long through the night to the morning. Far Cry 5 Although I took issue with some playing long the game, I have to admit that surviving Hope County alongside a crazy cast of characters was quite a wild ride....

Persona 5 Royal will be released soon, but fans of the series are clamoring for the return of another Persona title, as a new Twitter account is petitioning Atlus to remake Persona 3 for modern systems. The first two (technically three) games in the Persona series were closely connected to the Shin Megami Tensei series in terms of gameplay and style. It wasn’t until Persona 3 that the formula for the series was set, with a group of teenagers forced to balance their school lives with saving the world, while also adhering to a strict schedule....

It’s possible that Persona 5 Royal might include same-sex romance options, as it has been revealed that Joker will be able to give gifts to male party members, which was impossible in Persona 5. The Persona series is known for its social interactions between party members and their allies. It’s possible for the protagonists of Persona 3, Persona 4, and Persona 5 to pursue relationships with members of the opposite sex, which involves spending time with them and giving them gifts....

In a surge of surprising news, Microsoft has announced that Phantasy Star Online 2 is finally making its way to the west, and will debut on PC and Xbox One. Fans of the series have resorted to playing fan-translations over the years, but PSO2 is finally receiving the official Western release that it has long deserved. The gameplay trailer shows off all of the moments that fans have come to love, showing plenty of the title’s unusual mixture of classic fantasy with futuristic weapons....

Zoo management sim Planet Zoo is getting its latest DLC next month in the form of the North America Animal Pack. The pack will add eight brand new animals to the game, all based in the continent of North America. These include the American Beaver, the Moose, the California Sea Lion, the Cougar, the American Alligator, the Black-tailed Prairie Dog and the Arctic Fox. Finally, the American Bullfrog completes the menagerie as a new habitat animal offering....

Project G.G. got an official teaser trailer today, and it is an action game that pits the protagonist against an invasion of kaiju (via Gematsu). It is the second venture of the Platinum 4, which is the culmination of the company’s ambitions to self-publish and expand into new operations. The trailer shows a city under attack, besieged by a monster. A young boy rushes to the rescue, turning into a giant, and squares off against the kaiju with the concrete jungle as their battleground....

Platinum Games has revealed its third project of the Platinum 4, and that is a division based in Tokyo that will become its “first true development hub outside of [its] main office.” In January, the developer received a “capital investment” from the world’s biggest gaming company, Tencent Holdings. This influx would enable Platinum Games to “strengthen our foundation as a business and expand from game development into exploring self-publishing,” while staying an independent entity....

EA just made a very important announcement regarding early access for Battlefield 5. Good news for PC Players,you are getting special treatment this time around. If you’ve paid for Origin Access Premier you will get to play Battlefield 5 first on November 9. That is an incredible 11 days before its Standard Edition releases. If you’ve only paid for Origin Basic don’t worry you will still get access to a ten hour trial of the game on the same day....

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is going to be adding three new vehicles to the game according to the game’s developer, Brendan ‘PlayerUnknown’ Greene. In an AMA on Reddit, Greene spoke to fans about PUBG’s development, what features the developer is focusing on for the game’s launch, and even mentioned wanting to add a single-player mode (before swiftly debunking it). During the AMA, Greene was surprisingly candid about what the developer would be implementing into the game prior to and following launch....

Pokémon Go has detailed its next in-game season, which will take the compulsive creature-catching app through the summer months. This year’s Pokémon Go Fest will return to hosting in-person events in three select cities, as well as a two-day global event you can play wherever you are. The global event will be held on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th June, and also offer a “bonus finale event” on Saturday 27th August. Sandwiched in the middle of all that will be three distinct city-focused events held in Berlin, Seattle and Sapporo....

Zarude is the newest Mythical Pokémon to be revealed, in conjunction with the celebrations for Pokémon Day. A Dark and Grass type, it is called “The Rogue Monkey” Pokémon. It will feature in the film Pocket Monsters the Movie: Coco, which will be released on July 10, 2020, in Japan. Zarude has the ability Leaf Guard and is said to be a relentless attacker, equipping whatever it gets its claws on as a weapon....

Pokémon Sword and Shield may not be the most difficult games in the long-running franchise. There have been several additions that make the game a little easier and the mechanics less opaque, like the automatic Experience Share or the ability to view a Pokémon’s IVs. But you can run into a difficult battle even in the easiest of games, and it’s better to be prepared. Pokémarts now live inside the Pokémon Center, we guess because it uses the space more efficiently....

Pokemon GO has a bunch of different Legendary Pokemon that are quite rare. These powerful Pokemon cannot be obtained easily by hatching eggs and can only spawn in the wild. One of such Legendaries is Palkia, a Tier 5 Water-Dragon dual-type from the Sinnoh region. A great addition to any roster, it does not have any evolution considering how powerful it already is. Now, in order to catch a Palkia you should know how to fight it using counters....
