Retro Games, the company that brought us THEC64 Mini, is back to take on another PC legend. The manufacturer has revealed THEA500 Mini, a console version of the Amiga PC created by Commodore in the mid ’80s. It’ll be available next year with 25 Amiga games, and it comes with options to expand the library. Like the C64 Mini before it, the whole thing is a big keyboard, but it’ll also arrive with a controller and mouse....
Short Version: White Knight Chronicles turned out to be an uninspired, boring cliche of a game. Unfulfilling and lacking memorable moments, this game is disappointing to say the least. White Knight Chronicles was initially announced at the Tokyo Game Show in 2006. That first trailer was extremely impressive, and ultimately became one of my top reasons for purchasing a PlayStation 3. In 2008 the game was released in Japan, but it would take two more long years before it would reach the shores of any other region....

Well, don’t worry, fans — you’ll get your tricks and treats with the multiplayer shooter sooner than you might think! Today, the official Overwatch Twitter account confirmed that the Halloween Terror 2019 event is happening. And what’s more, it kicks off tomorrow and runs through November 4. Path of Exile has recently released one of its largest expansions yet. Conquerors of the Atlas completely overhauls the endgame systems by adding new bosses to slay, bringing with it new loot and incentives to do harder content. With this new expansion, Path of Exile easily has one of the best post-game systems of any video game currently available. Conquerors of the Atlas also debuted a temporary challenge league called Metamorph....
Fans of the Pathfinder tabletop RPG got a nice surprise with 2018’s Pathfinder: Kingmaker. Even though it had its quirks and bugs on release, it was a fun CRPG romp. More good news arrived last month when Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous was announced. The sequel will build on the first game but features a new setting, and the story will center on a demonic invasion that the players must repel....

Three Persona games are on their way to Nintendo Switch: Persona 5 Royal, Persona 4 Golden, and Persona 3 Portable. Persona 5 Royal will be the first to release on 21st October - this is the same day it hits Xbox, PlayStation and Steam. Persona 4 Golden and Persona 3 Portable will then follow at a later date. The games will be sold separately and will feature English and Japanese voice acting, and HD graphics....
Rocket Panda Games released a new trailer of the upcoming 2D fighting game Phantom Breaker: Omnia, showcasing a match. This time around, we get to see Artifactor in a battle against Ende. Interestingly, the audio is in Japanese. It’s good to hear more of the Japanese voice acting since the vast majority of the promotional material we’ve seen so far has been in English, but both options are included in the game....

HMs have been the bane of fans since they were introduced in Pokémon Red & Blue. They were permanent moves that took up the space of more useful combat moves and for the longest time couldn’t be deleted. Some were legitimately useful and made for great moves we were happy to have a Pokémon or two use. Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid is one of the best “phoenix rising from the ashes” games of this generation. When the game originally launched, it was a complete mess. It was unfinished, buggy, and you couldn’t even block in the air in the game’s original launch version. But, just like the similarly troubled Street Fighter V, Battle for the Grid put its nose to the grindstone and eventually became one of the best fighting games of this generation....

Professional skier Matilda Rapaport has died while filming a promotional video for Ubisoft’s upcoming game Steep. She was 30 years old. In a statement provided to GameSpot, Ubisoft explained that the skier had been caught in an avalanche while filming a video in Chile last Thursday, later passing away from her injuries. “We are deeply saddened to learn the death of Matilda Rapaport, the remarkable Swedish freeskiing athlete,” said a Ubisoft spokesperson....
Sony’s latest console, the PlayStation 5, has just passed a relevant sales milestone. As reported by GamesIndustry, citing head of global sales and business operations at Sony Interactive Entertainment Veronica Rogers, the console has now sold over 20 million units worldwide. The statement does not mention if these are sold-in figures to retailers or sold-through estimates to customers. The latest update we had was 19.3 million sold-in by March 2022....
