Persona 5 Royal Will Seeds are a new set of collectibles that didn’t appear in the original game. Adding a fresh twist to palaces, there are now three Will Seeds to find within each of them, coloured red, green, and blue. You won’t find them in the Depth of Mementos area, but there is an eighth palace that didn’t feature in the original Persona 5. In Persona 5 Royal, you visit this new location during the Third Semester in January, and it also contains Will Seeds....

PlayStation has announced its plans to release a new PSVR system will be coming to the PlayStation 5 in the future. In the announcement on the PlayStation Blog, the company’s Senior Vice President of Platform Planning & Management Hideaki Nishino wrote: “Today I’m pleased to share that our next-generation VR system will be coming to PlayStation 5, enabling the ultimate entertainment experience with dramatic leaps in performance and interactivity. Players will feel an even greater sense of presence and become even more immersed in their game worlds once they put on the new headset....
PlayStation has announced the three free PS Plus monthly games for October. Hot Wheels Unleashed (PS4, PS5), Injustice 2 (PS4), and Superhot (PS4) will all be available on the subscription service from 4th October. As a reminder, these games will be available to all subscribers across the Essential, Extra, and Premium tiers. PlayStation has announced the rest of the games being added to the PlayStation Now service for the month of September. First up is Bandai Namco’s Tekken 7, which has appeared a few times but it’s hard to argue against such solid beat-em-up action. Joining it are the games Killing Floor 2 and the original version of Final Fantasy VII. The latter of those two was previously revealed during last week. ICYMI, the service will add one Final Fantasy title a month between now and January 2022....
Sony is set to wind down game development at its first party development house Japan Studio —responsible for such titles as The Last Guardian, Ape Escape, Knack and Gravity Rush— and recenter operations around Astro’s Playroom developer Team ASOBI. The move was first reported by Video Games Chronicle that claimed a “vast majority” of staff had been let go with their contracts not being renewed past their due expiry date of April 1 this year with several high profile departures over the past few months, including Bloodborne producer Masaaki Yamagiwa and Silent Hill creator Keiichiro Toyama—with the latter going on to form Bokeh Game Studio back in December....
So… Pokémon Go, huh? The app released in July 2016 (on a staggered schedule, region by region), and sure has had a wild ride in its relatively brief existence. There have been numerous problems, attempted fixes that screwed up twelve other things in the process (see also: For Honor)… Niantic really didn’t know what they were getting themselves into with this one. The playerbase and ex-playerbase all feel some kind of way about Go and its issues, but what if we told you that an actually beneficial glitch had been discovered?...
I don’t expect much from my game universes. Some initial instructions are nice, but not strictly speaking necessary if I recognize the genre. Maybe some starting gear so I’m not completely helpless right off the bat. A little backstory never hurts. But there’s one thing that I just gotta have in every world I visit, and that’s consistency. Pokémon is one game-built universe that has virtually no consistency. Consistency in the game world is paramount to ensuring proper immersion....
Generation Three of Pokemon was a turning point for the franchise. With new graphics, new mechanics, and a brand new adventure overall, Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald were fantastic entries in a phenomenal series. This review contains spoilers. 3.6 Les Enfants Du Sang Eccarius (Adam Croasdell) has one of the most interesting character introductions since Cassidy appeared. Cas introduced himself via a violent brawl with a group of vampire hunters and ended up falling from an airplane to smash himself into an impact crater. Eccarius’s introduction is a little more sedate. He appears, sitting on a throne of some sort, surrounded by posers in costumes wearing plastic vampire fangs....
Multiplayer dino-shooter Primal Carnage: Extinction will release digitally on PS4 on October 20, developer Panic Button has announced. That’s the date for the US launch, at least: A European date has yet to be confirmed. Primal Carnage: Extinction sees two teams of players fighting each other as either dinosaurs or mercenaries across a variety of online modes. Players can choose to either play on the as a Dilophosaurus, Novaraptor, Pteranodon, Carnotaurus or T-Rex, or jump into various classes on the human team....

The CEO of Slightly Mad Studios, Ian Bell, has said that EA had tried to ‘kill’ the developer of Project Cars 2. Bell even name dropped EA’s vice president, Patrick Söderlund, as the one pulling the strings. According to Bell EA attempted to steal the developer’s Madness Engine, and even poached staff members throughout the whole messy situation. Sounds like Bell is still pretty peeved, to say the least. These comments came yesterday as Twitch streamer SpotTheOzzie was speaking with Bellon a livestream, and it’s fair to say that the conversation contained plenty of talking points....
Rainbow Six Siege has a new limited-time event that lets you live out your samurai fantasies. Called Rengoku, the event lasts until 17th May and takes place in a modified version of the Skyscraper map. Players battle it out in a 5v5 capture point game mode that’s similar to Domination in other shooters like Call of Duty, except the capture points move every two minutes. The first team to reach 300 points wins....
WWE wrestler and multi-time World Champion Randy Orton recently appeared in a Twitch stream with streamer Brad Radke, where he was uncensored and answered basically any question that was put to him. There were some notable moments in the stream, including Orton praising the recent AEW Dynamite broadcast, and another where he seemed to accidentally use a racial slur.
