Fall Guys adds skins to its shop on a daily rotation, and there could be a couple more licensed offerings available in the coming weeks. On PC, we’ve already seen Valve get in on the action with Half Life and Team Fortress themed skins. Now, a datamine has revealed that more could be coming from Valve, namely a Portal character skin for Fall Guys. Based on Chell from Portal, HypexFG on Twitter shows us the set, along with what could be coming from My Friend Pedro....

Sony has launched PS4 update 5.50 for public consumption today following a lengthy beta testing period. The patch weighs in at around 460MB, so it’s not too taxing on your console’s hard drive. As previously reported, PS4 update 5.50 introduces a number of key features for Sony’s flagship telly box, including supersampling, which allows you to enjoy improved picture quality comparable to 4K even when hooking up your PS4 Pro to a TV that supports a lower resolution....

PUBG’s 19.1 update is finally here, ushering in a shedload of new features, including the Assassin’s Creed limited-time event. It includes a new MP9 weapon - the first fully-automatic SMG that uses 9mm - a new vehicle that will see you unstealthily “zipping down roads with sirens ablaze”, and the Blue Chip Detector tactical gear which uses primary weapon slots but can be used to scan for enemies within a 100m radius; you’ll see the nearest 12 enemies on the map....

The Read Only Memories: Neurodiver demo is now available for eager players to dive into a psychic detective story. Developer MidBoss announced over the weekend that its cyberpunk adventure will hit Steam and Epic Games Store in Q1 of 2022. However, fans can get a taste of the action early by downloading the new demo. According to Steam, Read Only Memories: Neurodiver follows “a psychic detective known as ES88.” Backed by an organization called MINERVA, ES88 is on the hunt for a psychic known as the Golden Butterfly, who hides in other people’s memories....

Red Dead Online is, well, something to behold. While there are elements in there that could make this game the best online gaming experience yet, Rockstar has been slow in implementing helpful features and doing something about the insane amount of griefers that populate their western world. Nothing is more frustrating than fishing for an hour so you can get your gold and honor up, only to have some neckbeard camper wait until you reach the butcher to kill you or steal your wares....

The upcoming Resident Evil 3 remake is expected to be very similar to the original Resident Evil 3, albeit with significant visual improvements, better controls, and some gameplay changes to appeal to modern audiences. However, it’s possible that the Resident Evil 3 remake will also be making some changes to the game and story, even if they’re not all that major. For example, there are some fans who are theorizing that the Resident Evil 3 remake will feature a character who wasn’t in the original version of the game....

The internet made a giant fuss about her, but Resident Evil Village requires you to beat Lady Dimitrescu all the same. A lot of people will be sad to put her down, but they’ll at least be happy that she looks a little different while you’re fighting her. As she’s the first boss fight in the game, she’s honestly quite easy. I’m not actually sure how she stayed alive all this time, considering....

During the course of the first section in Resident Evil Village: Shadows of Rose, you’ll eventually unlock the door at the top of the staircase in the Dimitrescu castle — beyond lies the gallery and a puzzle. Once you get into the gallery, you’ll be greeted with six portraits, one of which is missing. If you don’t have the sixth one, you can’t solve this puzzle just yet. However, if you’ve found the final one in the castle’s lower levels, you’re ready to open the blocked-off chest....

This time he plays a much larger role, and is looking to inflict some pain on those in the city. While at GDC, Game Rant was able to go eyes on with the game. The live demo shown was identical to what was shown at Microsoft’s Press Event just before GDC....

River City Melee Mach!! is the latest release in the Kunio-kun series of games by Arc System Works. Longtime fans of the franchise will immediately recognize the old-school NES style graphics in this new, large-scale brawler that pits four players against each other. With a broad range of single player stories and great local co-op play, River City Melee Mach!! looks to be a great addition to any Nintendo Switch library, so long as you don’t care much for online play....

Blizzard has announced that it’s been forced to delay a major patch for Overwatch 2 that was set to arrive overnight – and return Mei to the game. The update is set to be the latest major balance patch to the game, coming a couple of weeks after the Halloween event and was originally planned for November 15. “Today’s patch is delayed as we work to resolve a critical issue,” they explained....

The Overwatch esports program, Overwatch League, hosted a Mother’s Day celebration that included a major misstep. The official stream managed to display an image of a notorious British serial killer couple, which had been sent in by a viewer. The Mother’s Day celebration involved displaying tweets sent in from fans celebrating their mothers. While the tweets were presumably scanned for inappropriate content or language, it seems that no one thought to reverse image search the pictures....

Fredrik Wester has reassured fans that development on Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 is still ongoing. Wester was responding to a question from a fan on Twitter on the status of the troubled RPG. “Bloodlines 2 is in development and we will let you know more when we are ready” his response read. He elaborated that “The game is in good hands and we look forward to showing you more when the team and the game is ready....

This is a World War II game where you fight as the local people resisting the Nazi occupation – but it’s not set in France! That’s right, baby, we’re finally acknowledging that Soviet partisans existed. The game, appropriately enough, is titled Partisans 1941. As hinted in the title, the year is 1941. The Nazi blitzkrieg (still very much horse-powered) is unleashed on the USSR. Chaos follows, and many Soviet units are beaten, scattered, or surrounded....

The schedule has been released for PAX West, a 4 day gaming convention held each year in Seattle, Washington. This year’s con will run from Friday August 30th to Monday September 2nd and is jam packed with panels, concerts, live events, and hundreds and hundreds of new games. Open world prequel Pokémon Legends: Arceus got a detailed showcase during today’s Pokémon Presents livestream earlier today. You’ll be playing as a member of the Galaxy Expedition Team, visiting Jubilife Village. The area acts as a base hub of sorts, and you’ll take assignments and quests from the residents before you set out into the Hisui region. You’ll set up at base camps around the region, where you can rest up your Pokémon or craft items to help in battles....

With the Galar Region being based on the UK, Gamefreak made some really odd choices for the Galar Pokedex, probably influenced by not including a national Pokédex. So with 400+ pokemon getting the Thanos treatment, many Pokémon were treated as the great survivors, even though their placement in the UK makes absolutely no sense for the region.
