The Halloween 2022 event has enveloped Pokémon Go in a spooky glow! This year Pokémon Go has split its Halloween event into two halves - Halloween Part 1 and Halloween Part 2. Competitive Pokémon YouTuber WolfeyVGC has discovered a genius method of stopping an opponent’s Dynamax Pokémon in Pokémon Sword & Shield. Dynamax is a new battle mechanic added in Sword & Shield that has been banned in some competitive circles because of the vast changes (and somewhat unfair advantages) it offers in battles. WolfeyVGC, AKA Wolfey, has found a clever way of canceling an opponent’s attempt at Dynamaxing their Pokémon in competitive double battles....

The Pokemon Company and Nintendo have just announced that Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have sold over 10 million units within the first three days of their release. This number is an accumulation of worldwide sales for both games and comes by way of Business Wire. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have sold a total of 4.05 million units in Japan during the first weekend, making them the fastest-selling Nintendo Switch games to ever release....

Twitch and Youtube streamer Imane Anys, better known by her online alias Pokimane, was in for a surprise when the “police” unexpectedly showed up at her house while streaming Portal 2 on Twitch. Thankfully, the streamer wasn’t in any serious trouble as the incident turned out to be a harmless prank set up by a friend. The incident occurred on September 23 while the streamer was playing Portal 2. At around the 28-minute mark of the three and a half-hour stream, two figures are seen entering Poki’s bedroom before proceeding to knock on her door....

A new update for Xbox Game Pass gem PowerWash Simulator has fixed the game’s multiplayer issues, its developer has said. A 3.5GB update was made available for the game earlier today, Eurogamer spotted. Now, developer Futurlab has confirmed this patch is designed to alleviate the game’s Xbox crash issues. Last week, Futurlab offered an unusual tip to avoid multiplayer crashes - to stop looking at the sun. Apparently, issues with the game’s lens flare visuals were at fault....

Tokyo Mew Mew has quite the history. the original magical girl genre manga started in 2001 and ran until 2003. The very first anime series ran from 2002-2003 and the series was dormant until July of this year when a brand new series called Tokyo Mew Mew New started for the manga’s 20th anniversary. PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is finally making the leap to PS4, and its bringing with it some big changes. Yesterday I joked that it was too late for PUBG to make any kind of big moves. That it was too much of an old dog to learn new tricks capable of surviving against Fortnite. Now, however, PUBG is doing something Fortnite won’t: adding a ranking system. A patch called Update 22 is launching on PUBG’s test servers, says Polygon, and it’ll do a lot to make the game more competitive....

PUBG Corporation and Tencent Games have announced the next collaboration event to come to PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Mobile, and it’s the King of Monsters himself, Godzilla. There’s not much information about exactly what this limited time event will entail – we can’t deny the prospect of having an intense firefight suddenly interrupted by a 50 foot lizard stomping around destroying the scenery appeals – but the announcement mentions that the event will take place later in May, with clues to Godzilla’s arrival appearing in-game now....
