Blizzard has announced that its rather popular team-based shooter, Overwatch, is getting another free weekend. From September 22-25 players will be able to download the full game, gaining access to all the heroes, maps and game modes, and blast away to their heart’s content for four days. This isn’t the first free weekend that Overwatch has had. This is the fourth promotional event so far, with the most recent in May celebrating the game’s first anniversary....

Apple Arcade is getting a Pac-Man battle royale game. It’s called Pac-Man Party Royale, and it will feature many of the mechanics we’ve come to expect from both things. There will be pellets, ghosts, and lots of eating. There will also be free-for-all versus play, a shrinking arena, and only one winner in the end. If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to play Pac-Man against friends on mobile phones, you’ll get the chance to find out by year’s end....

Having made a splash at the box office with its latest cinematic outing, it seems that 2022 will not be the last time we will see the Ghostface killer. As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, Paramount Pictures and Spyglass Entertainment have greenlit a sixth installment of the Scream franchise, and the sequel will once again be led at the helm by the creative team behind the latest effort. Pokémon Go is making a lot of moolah due to the lockdowns and quarantines imposed upon players, and has seen an increase of 66.7 per cent between the weeks of March 9 and March 16 (via Nintendo Life). Over 20.2 million PlayStation 4 consoles have been sold worldwide as of March 1, 2015, Sony has announced. The figure means that over 1.7 million PS4 consoles have already been sold this year alone.
