Riverdale has been on-air for years, but the show is reaching its conclusion after season seven. Despite the fact that the series was renewed in March, the finale is now set to come sometime in 2023. The Xbox One X, the unhelpfully named upcoming console from Xbox, was officially revealed at this year’s E3. XB1X is out on November 7, but pre-orders are now just around the corner, at least according to head of Xbox and head of wearing a t-shirt under a suit jacket Phil Spencer. Responding to a question on Twitter, Spencer says that the ‘plan is set’ for pre-orders, and that all approvals are now done, so it won’t be too much longer before pre-orders go live....

Today, during the latest Nintendo Direct, Shigeru Miyamoto finally announced that Pikmin 4 has a release window. Unfortunately, an exact timeframe wasn’t provided, though we do know that it’ll be coming at some point in 2023. While no gameplay was shown, it was stated that you’ll be able to use the Nintendo Switch’s motion sensors as a part of the gameplay in some sense. It’s finally official. Guerilla Games has offered a first proper look at Horizon Call of the Mountain for PSVR2, alongside news that a free update for Horizon Forbidden West on PS4 and PS5 is now available, adding an ultra hard difficulty, New Game+, and more. Horizon Call of the Mountain, which was announced back in January, is a first-person experience set the series’ gorgeous, post-apocalypse world. As The Game Awards 2021 kept chugging along, so did the video game announcements and reveals. As the scene rolled on with massive drums and its mysterious percussionist, it was difficult to guess what we were looking at. It wasn’t until the Lucasfilm Games title card stepped out of the shadows that it was apparent were getting baited with something Star Wars-related. At the tail end of the reveal trailer, we found out that these familiar scenes and faces will be found in the upcoming Star Wars: Eclipse, developed by Quantic Dream....

It appears as though an oft-rumoured, but as-yet-unconfirmed, remake of Resident Evil 4 may be announced soon by Capcom. That’s according to Fanbyte, who are also reporting on some new rumoured details about the project from its sources. According to them, Capcom intend to reveal the remake formally early this year. The sources also corroborate last year’s reports that development was switched from Capcom’s M-Two studio. Instead, it’s claimed that the team behind the excellent Resident Evil 2 remake from 2019 are leading the project....

The secret passage in Resident Evil Village will lead you from the Hall of War where you will be able to see a ton of people fighting each other and into the prisons where Lady Dimitrescu would usually hold her prisoners, there’s only an issue here as people are finding it difficult to open the secret passage.
