PS5 consoles are beginning to stay in stock for far longer across UK retailers, and are now also coming bundled with Horizon Forbidden West. This morning, Argos went live with both the standard disc and digital PS5 consoles with Horizon Forbidden West, and it seems they are still in stock at the time of writing. It’s a great sign for the longevity of the console staying in stock that bundles like these are appearing now, and it also saves you some money when you buy it....

Heads up for anyone who bought the digital deluxe edition of Sonic Frontiers - you should install the DLC before starting a new game. Sega posted the announcement yesterday, ahead of Sonic Frontiers’ release today, to inform players how to access the DLC. “DLC content will not be valid if installed after the tutorial area,” Sega tweeted. Sega also reminded players to install the most recent patch of the game before installing any DLC....

London-based games company BeefJack has revealed Iron Fish, a ‘psychological deep-sea thriller’ due out on PC later this year. Developed in partnership with indie creator Dean Edwards, Iron Fish is described by BeefJack as an ‘undersea chiller’ that tasks players with surviving the dangers of the ocean while uncovering mysteries hidden deep beneath the ocean waves. “We have been eagerly waiting for the right time to show Iron Fish,” said Edwards....

It was only last week when Radical Heights released on Steam Early Access. The release brought with it a very early build of the game. Developer Boss Key Studios has also revealed that it was very much a “five month passion project.” If you’ve played the game in the current build, you might notice you cannot vault low walls or windows. It looks like that will change in the very near future....

Following the introduction of government-mandated gaming restrictions, 54 percent of Chinese youth are reportedly playing games within regulated hours. That’s according to a new 2022 China Youth Gamers report from Niko Partners (thanks GamesIndustry.biz). The study found that 77 percent of youth are at least playing fewer hours per week, even though only 54 percent are within approved hours. Pokémon GO developer Niantic is kicking off a flurry of February events with an hour full of Onix. It’s part of a new experimental type of mini-event called the Pokémon Spotlight Hour. As the name says, Niantic will have one Pokémon spawn more frequently for one hour even outside its natural habitat. However, the star Pokémon is kept secret until the very moment the event starts. Project CARS will release on PS4, Xbox One and PC on May 8, Bandai Namco has promised. The new release date was announced alongside a tease from developer Slightly Mad that the game had finally gone gold following months of delays. The game was originally due to release last November, but was later delayed to March, April and May. A new poll went out recently that presented potential buyers of the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X with four different selling points: Backward Compatibility, Affordable Pricing, Better Graphics, and Exclusive Games. The poll then asked these buyers to choose one of these four points to represent what would most influence their decision to choose the PS5 over the Xbox Series X and vice versa, and the results that came back were interesting if not a tad bit predictable....

Patch 6.2 for PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (aka, PUBG) adds the Team Deathmatch mode to the arcade, adjusts throwables, changes the Blue Zone, and implements a parachute follow feature (via GameSpot). This is just for PC players at the moment, and the console patch is on its way. So, the highly-requested Team Deathmatch mode is here, and will pit eight players against another eight players across seven arenas pulled from classic maps. The team with the most kills in ten minutes, or the first to reach 50 kills wins the round, with two wins taking the crown....
