Sony has confirmed that it will host a PlayStation 5 live stream conference in June. There’s no word on what, exactly, we can expect from this event at this time. A system update for the PlayStation 5 is now live, adding in a number of new features previously available in beta. EA boss Andrew Wilson has suggested the ongoing drama surrounding the future of Call of Duty is “a tremendous opportunity” for his company’s beleagured Battlefield franchise. Resident Evil 7 will feature “some” gun combat, producer Masachika Kawata has confirmed, but it won’t be the game’s main focus. Speaking to GameSpot, Kawata confirmed that combat does not feature in the game’s demo (which is available to download now from PlayStation Store), but it will be present in the final game. “In the final game, of course, there will be many types of game mechanics including combat, perhaps some gun-play,” he said....
