We knew they were coming, but Capcom has announced its PS5 and Xbox Series X/S spruce-ups of Resident Evil 2, 3 and 7 will launch today, 13th June. All three titles - which is to say, the Resident Evil 2 and 3 remakes, plus Resident Evil 7 - will feature support for 4K resolution, “high” framerates, ray tracing, and 3D audio. Players yet to experience the games will be able to purchase the newly updated Xbox Series X/S and PS5 versions from their respective stores, but existing owners on Xbox One and PS4 can grab the updates relevant to their platform at no additional cost....

With both the rampant critical and financial success of Resident Evil 2 earlier this year, it hasn’t taken long for the franchise’s fanbase to turn their attention and excitement to a potential re-release of the beloved third game in the franchise, Resident Evil 3: Nemesis. Resident Evil 7 had some pretty decent DLC, didn’t it? An expansion with a new character and new locales, multiple new modes, the post-launch content added a decent amount to the game. Upcoming anime Revenger was first revealed to be coming from co-producers Nitroplus and Shochiku back in September, but the identity of the series creator was kept a secret. That trend continued until today, with a brand new trailer finally spilling the beans. As it just so happens, the Revenger series comes from Gen Urobuchi, creator of the Psycho-Pass series. Nintendo is returning to the world of fitness games but is adding a new twist to the concept, as Ring Fit Adventure is taking the idea of Wii Fit and transplanting it into the world of a fantasy RPG. Nintendo has released an official announcement trailer for the Ring-Con and Leg Strap accessories, which were recently teased in a separate video. The devices both use the regular Joy-Cons of the Nintendo Switch to detect the player’s movements in order to reflect them in an upcoming game called Ring Fit Adventure, which wants to make exercise fun by turning it into a game....

Gamers that love to let their creativity run wild will soon be able to do so, quite literally. The new trailer for Paper Beast has confirmed the VR title is coming to Steam this summer. Paper Beast originally released on PlayStation 4, but developer Pixel Reef is clearly looking to reach new audiences. The game comes from indie designer Eric Chahi, who also created Another World. Mythic Paths offer an additional layer of progression in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous. Compared to regular leveling in the game (i.e., killing enemies to gain XP), Mythic Paths follow a different system. In a new trailer, Developer Owlcat Games just unveiled Season Pass 2 for its acclaimed RPG Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous. This trailer sees Creative Director Alexander Mishulin giving a sneak peek into the season pass, which kicks off the developer’s extensive new plans for future DLC and content updates. The PES 2017 demo will launch in North, Central and South America on August 23, and then in all European territories on August 24, Konami has revealed. According to a profile from Bloomberg, Bluehole PUBG Corp. is in talks with Sony over launching a PlayStation version of the hundred player free-for-all game. PlayStation has announced it’ll be releasing a pair of new colours it’ll be adding to its DualSense controller offerings for the PlayStation 5 next month.
