While Ubisoft hasn’t made it official as of yet, it appears that Rayman Legends: Definitive Edition will be out on Nintendo Switch on September 12. If you go to the Coming Soon tab on the UK eShop, you’ll see all the forthcoming software that will be available on Nintendo Switch in the coming months. Well, smacked right in the middle between Pokken Tournament DX and Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle is Rayman Legends: Definitive Edition....

After a slew of endless rumors and speculations, Capcom finally confirmed the highly-anticipated remake of Resident Evil 3: Nemesis. As predicted by many, the game was officially unveiled at Sony’s final State of Play, which aired earlier today. Apart from confirming the game’s existence, Capcom also revealed Resident Evil 3 remake’s first-ever trailer, which brings players back to the harrowing escape of series veteran Jill Valentine from the zombie-infested Raccoon City....

Capcom has released a new trailer for the upcoming Resident Evil 7 DLC add-ons Not a Hero and End of Zoe. The trailer takes a look at each of the DLCs, which will both be released on December 12. Resident Evil 7: Gold Edition will include the full game, as well as all of the DLC that’s been released. Not a Hero is a free DLC add-on for the game, whereas owners of the regular version of Resi 7 will have to pay for the End of Zoe DLC....

May 31 will see the release of new Paragon Hero Riktor, Epic Games has announced. Riktor is a cyborg melee tank with a speciality in crowd control. “He’s a powerful initiator who brings order to the battlefield by locking down targets and pacifying enemies,” explains Epic. “His Riplash ability reaches out with his electric chain and pulls in enemy Heroes and/or minions while dealing damage. His Shock Therapy disrupts enemies by silencing them and his Skewer Ultimate uses a web of chains to damage and stun everyone in his path....

It’s with great dismay that have to inform you that the voice of one of the greatest, and misunderstood, video game villains of all time has passed away. Robert Culp, the voice actor for Half-Life 2’s Dr. Wallace Breen, has died at the age of 79. Steam released this announcement about their dear friend: Dr. Wallace Breen, administrator of the original Black Mesa facility, negotiator of the Combine treaty that enslaved humanity, and eventual Ruler of Earth and puppet of the Combine, we’ll miss you....

Consisting of a whole lot of skulls and dead things, the Death Arcana is represented by our favorite goth doctor, Tae Takemi. Her confidant is all about saving a terminally ill patient, symbolizing the meaning of death itself. This group of Personas loves to curse their foes with status ailments and finish them off with dark magic. A staple in the Shin Megami Tensei and Persona series, you’ll see these ghoulish creatures play a major role in most titles....

Persona 5 Strikers has a multitude of side quests for players to complete. These quests are usually given by Morgana, the cute little cat in the game. To complete these quests you will have to revisit most of the Jails that you had previously visited. You will be given quests where you will have to search for some magical, levitating cubes that are rightfully called Forgotten Desires. These Forgotten Desires are also known as Hidden Desires and Oh, how well hidden they truly are....

With the premier of The Last Jedi, the storyline has come under major attack. Whether or not intentional, fandom is divided thanks to a single movie out of dozens of other forms of content. Sony has made a big announcement today involving their “PlayStation Hits” lineup. Seven new games will be dropping into Sony’s exclusive collection of top performing titles, and as a result their prices will also be dropping on the PSN and at a number of physical retailers to $19.99. The new entries include Far Cry 4, Rayman Legends, and 2018’s God of War, the latter obviously being the highest profile game within the collection....

Sony has moved to allay gamer’s fears that their voice and party chats are being recorded following a pop-up message that began appearing on their consoles following the PlayStation 4’s 8.0 system update that landed earlier this week. The update, which included updates to parties and messages, was causing players concern when a message reading “Voice chats may be recorded for moderation. By joining, you agree to being recorded” was displayed upon joining a party, with many wondering if this was a potential invasion of privacy from the console manufacturer and causing the update to trend on Twitter....

Subscribers to the PlayStation Plus service are getting some extra perks this month, including a whopping 100GB of cloud storage. This is instead of the previous 10GB, making for quite the upgrade. Alongside this surprise gift comes two quality free games as well as deals on a few choice PlayStation VR titles. The news comes from a post on the official PlayStation blog. The appeal of the extra cloud storage, at least according to the PS blog, is to keep more game saves in the cloud....

The day PlayStation Plus subscribers have been waiting for has finally arrived. Those who have been eagerly waiting since Sony’s PSN announcement earlier in the year, will be glad to know that they will finally be able to backup their game saves to the cloud with tomorrow’s v3.60 update. PlayStation Plus subscribers will not only be able save their data to the cloud, but they’ll now have access to that data from any PS3....

UK sales of the PlayStation VR will soon surpass the combined units sold of HTC Vive and Oculus Rift, GfK director Paul Simpson has told MCV. “Early UK sales of PlayStation VR indicate it is already approaching the combined installed base of HTC Vive and Oculus Rift,” revealed Simpson. “Initial PlayStation VR game sales are also positive with eight or nine boxed releases featuring in the Official UK Top 40 games chart (week ending Saturday 15th October 2016)....

Mega Latias is making its Pokémon Go debut during the new Air Adventures event in the Season of Alola. To get Latias Mega Energy and get a Mega Latias, you must take part in Mega Raids to defeat the Gen 3 variant to add it to your Pokédex. This is a tough Pokémon to take on solo, so we recommend teaming up with other trainers and knowing the best Mega Latias counters, and the Mega Latias weakness to catch the Pokémon, and maybe even get a Shiny Latias if you’re lucky....

A recent contest that involved designing a t-shirt for Pokémon Sword & Shield has been rendered null and void, due to the revelation that the winner had already sold the design in the past. The contest was held in conjunction with Uniqlo, which is a Japanese clothing designer that is known for its collaborations with different anime and video games. A contest was held for members of the public to design Pokémon themed-shirts that would be sold by Uniqlo, with the winning selection actually appearing as a t-shirt in Pokémon Sword & Shield that can be worn by the player character....

The Pokémon Company has shown off a three-and-a-half minute trailer for upcoming remakes Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl. Offering up a fairly comprehensive look of the game’s new visuals on Nintendo Switch, today’s Pokémon Presents broadcast offered a look at some of the new and enhanced features. These include the ability to customise your Pokéballs with stickers, and the new version of Pokémon talent contests. Of course, we also get reacquainted with this iteration’s team of baddies....

Pokemon GO’s 2019 holiday festivities may finally have come to a close, but there’s still no time for players to rest before the next event is underway. The 2020 Adventure Sync Hatchathon has already started and players have a few weeks to take advantage of the excellent bonuses available during the celebration. Nintendo has filed trademarks for two unannounced Pokemon titles: Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon. The filings were spotted on the EU trademark database by Nerd Leaks and feature the two games’ logos, suggesting they could be legit. Expect them both to be announced during Nintendo’s Pokemon Direct broadcast tomorrow afternoon. Pokemon celebrates its 20th anniversary this Saturday, February 27, with the first three games in the series, Pokemon Red, Blue and Yellow all due to hit Nintendo 3DS tomorrow....

Pokemon Sun and Moon have sold a combined 14.69 million units, as of December 31, 2016, Nintendo has announced. The games look certain to eclipse Mario Kart 7, which currently stands at 14.82 million units. Overtaking Pokemon X and Y also seems likely, with the earlier Pokemon titles having sold 16.06 million units. Pokemon Diamond and Pearl are the best-selling Pokemon games on Nintendo DS, shifting 17.64 million units. “The release of the smart device application Pokemon GO led to increased sales of software in the Pokemon series released in the past and drove Nintendo 3DS family hardware sales growth, particularly outside of Japan,” stated Nintendo....
