In just a matter of weeks, both the first and second entries in Slightly Mad Studio’s Project CARS lineup will be delisted permanently. The official announcement comes from EA, Codemasters, and Slightly Mad, who posted the announcement on the official Project CARS Twitter. The reason for the delisting is not out of the ordinary. It’s all due to expiring licenses, specifically licenses for vehicles and tracks. As a result, the original Project CARS will be removed from all storefronts on October 3....

While PlayStation fans are hungry for news regarding Sony’s reveal of the PlayStation 5, the date of the reveal event is a mystery. Leaks up to this point have pointed to a February date for this event. As February begins and Sony still hasn’t announced the PS5 event, skepticism is beginning to grow. Just one day after it previewed the new Sanhok, PUBG Corp. has revealed the full patch notes for Season 8. The new season for the battle royale brings a lot of changes to Sanhok, a new vehicle in the form of a Loot Truck, a new Survivor Pass, and a whole lot more. But there’s no sign of the decoy grenade from the preview video. PUBG update 8.1, which is essentially Season 8 and the new Sanhok, is on the Test Server now and will be coming to live servers on July 22....

Although there have been rumors about a team deathmatch mode for PlayUnknown’s Battlegrounds, the new mode was all but officially confirmed today. Rainbow Six Siege boasts over five years of popularity and content now, which Ubisoft should be proud of. We’ve seen multiple operations come and go over the years, but nothing quite like this before. Rainbow Six Siege: Mute Protocol introduces a futuristic twist to the game in a limited time event from August 4-17. The update includes a reimagined version of the Tower level, cyber operators, and new movement mechanics. That’s a lot to take in, but there’s fortunately plenty of processing power in the future....

But with good reason! It turns out that our pudgy little avatars don’t tend to react so well to Kinect games. The reason, says Nick Burton (senior programmer of Avatars at Rare), is that the disproportionate avatars aren’t to the same lengths as human bodies and are causing some glitching in Kinect-based avatar games....

Overwatch fans are often debating about which characters are overpowered and which ones could use a buff. A European retailer has the Overwatch Switch port listed for an October 18 launch. Bluehole Studio Inc. has released its latest patch onto the PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds test servers, prior to rolling out on the live servers later in the week. There are a number of new features coming to the game. The first of these is a new town called Kameshki, the implementation of foggy weather effects, and a new semi-automatic rifle called the Mini-14. Banging.
