At this morning’s PlayStation State of Play, Capcom officially confirmed that a remake of Resident Evil 3 is on the way. This confirmation came via a brief Resident Evil 3 trailer, which revealed the game’s release date, showed off the new character designs, and more. Despite all that was included in the RE3 trailer, though, actual gameplay footage was notably absent, but a special message from the developer offers a look at the remake in motion for fans that are interested....

Returnal is the newest RPG game that is exclusive to the PS5, save for a few others. The game is notoriously difficult to get through and takes a very unique approach to gameplay. Riot Games has announced that it reached a settlement in the recent lawsuit that accused the company of gender discrimination. The company said it has made many positive cultural changes internally. A year ago, reports surfaced that Riot Games, the studio behind League of Legends, had severe issues with gender discrimination at its company. Overkill Software has published a trailer for Border Crossing, a new heist coming to Payday 2. From the looks of it, the Border Crossing heist takes place at a bar in the middle of Nowheresville, Mexico. Targeting a biker gang, the crew will deliver a world of pain to the baddies, taking advantage of the long narrow corridors and empty windows to eliminate the opposition. It seems that the federal Border Control agency will get in on the fight and will pose a significant threat with riot shields and high-level weaponry....

Each year, there’s often one game that dominates my time for a hundred or so hours. Last year it was Elden Ring. Previously it was Breath of the Wild and The Witcher 3. Back in 2017 it was Persona 5. I loved it. I’d never previously played a game in the Persona (or Shin Megami Tensei) series. Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 is getting a free DLC pack tomorrow, March 8, introducing a new map, Backyard Battleground quests and more, PopCap has announced. The ‘Graveyard Variety Pack’ will be available for free on PS4, Xbox One and PC, and includes a remade version of the original game’s Garden Center map called ‘Aqua Center’, new Backyard Battleground missions, new “gameplay and control options”, and a night-time version of the game’s existing Great White North map....

The upcoming PS4-exclusive game Death Stranding from Hideo Kojima is set to feature a curated soundtrack, featuring songs from licensed artists including Bring Me the Horizon and CHVRCHES. The Death Stranding soundtrack has apparently come about as a collaboration between PlayStation and Sony Music, and as it turns out, we may see many more officially licensed soundtrack with PS5 games.
