Remedy has responded to claims that Quantum Break runs at a native 720p on Xbox One, explaining that the game’s 1080p output “is a temporal reconstruction from four previous 720p 4xMSAA frames”. The technique, the developer says, offers the game “high pixel quality in combination with complex shading and effects, allowing us to achieve a cinematic look”. “However, varying sample counts between passes and temporal upscaling makes talking about resolution, as it is traditionally understood, complicated in the case of Quantum Break,” Remedy told Inquisitr....

The developer of PowerWash Simulator has told players not to look at the sun, in order to avoid a game-crashing bug. This bug is linked to the game’s lens flare, developer FuturLab has said, and can occur on Xbox consoles when playing in multiplayer. More details on Rainbow Six Siege’s upcoming DLC operators have leaked ahead of their release next month.
