During The Game Awards 2022, we received official confirmation that the hit PlayStation game Returnal would make its way to PC early this year. Now, developer Housemarque has come out with a concrete release date for this much-anticipated PC port. Players eager to purchase Returnal on PC as soon as possible can do so once it sees its release on February 15, exactly four weeks from now. Mikael Haveri, the marketing director at Housemarque, uploaded a post on the official PlayStation Blog explaining what advanced settings and other features PC players can expect with this port....

Overwatch update 2.29 has been served up today for PS4, PC, and Xbox One, Blizzard Entertainment has announced. This latest patch adds a bunch of new cosmetic items and also a new map, Blizzard World, available in Quick Play and Custom Game matches. The Assault/Escort map marries various worlds from Blizzard history in a theme park-like setting, with players tasked with defending the payload across Azeroth, Tristram, and Koprulu Sector. Today, during the celebrations for EVO 2022, Atlus revealed an update for PS4 and PC versions of its fighting game Persona 4 Arena Ultimax. Phasmophobia by Kinetic Games is a multiplayer detective survival game in the horror genre. The game involves players sneaking around a haunted neighborhood with various different equipment to detect paranormal activities trying to identify the esoteric entities that reside within. However, even the ghostbusters have to run and hide when the evil spirits are hunting them back. Apart from the new maps, ghost and the new gamemode, the recent Nightmare Update reworked a lot of maps patching out cheeky door hiding spots that players had been exploiting....

HTC Vive’s $800 price point is setting the HTC SteamVR headset up for a loss against rivals Oculus Rift and PlayStation VR, Wedbush Securities research analyst Michael Pachter has said. With HTC’s announcement that the consumer edition of the Vive will cost $799, Pachter feels the Rift can come out on top, but a sub-$500 offering from Sony would destroy the competition. 915,000 PlayStation VR units have sold to consumers as of February 19, 2017, Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced. It looks likely Sony will comfortably reach its one million sales target for mid-April, and this despite widespread stock shortages for the hardware. Andrew House, President and Global CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment, said in a statement that Sony is “increasing production to meet demand and will continuously support content developers as they create innovative VR experiences that are only possible on PlayStation”....

A new video for Pokémon Legends: Arceus has been released, revealing the Hisuian forms of Zorua and Zoroak. The footage was teased earlier this week, when the official Pokémon Twitter account dropped a preview of the video. It was a deliberately low-fi version of the video, complete with film grain and 90s VHS effects. Add-on packs for Portal 2, Doctor Who, The Simpsons, Jurassic World and Scooby Doo are coming to LEGO Dimensions, it’s been confirmed. Pictures of the unannounced add-ons are included in the game’s instruction manual, which was discovered on the LEGO website last night. The packs were first rumoured last week after listings appeared on Walmart. Portal 2, The Simpsons and Doctor Who will all be available as Level Packs, introducing a new world, characters and items, with Jurassic World and Scooby Doo available as Team Packs introducing two playable characters and a pair of new items each....

The price for unlocking all Overwatch Anniversary skins, sprays, voice lines and emotes is going to be set way higher than all previous Overwatch events. According to reddit user Desks_up on the Overwatch subreddit, the total cost for unlocking all anniversary content is over 56,475 credits. That’s much more than the earlier Uprising event, which required players to have banked 36,825 credits to get all the new loot, and still more than the previous most expensive Year of the Rooster event from last February at 37,050 credits....
