The PS4 and Xbox One versions of Project CARS will include a range graphics options you’d typically only find in PC games, Eurogamer reports. The two versions apparently feature settings grouped into “Visual FX”, “Authenticity”, “Field of View” and “Movement”. Within these menus you’ll be able to tweak the likes of post-processing filters, lens flare, bloom, screen dirt, rain drops, crepuscular rays and more. Eurogamer’s Digital Foundry has so far been unable to test if the graphics options have an impact on game performance, but Slightly Mad has confirmed that the PS4 version runs at 1080p with Xbox One at 900p, both at 60 frames per second....

Some games are to be experienced best with a controller while some videogames need a keyboard. To elaborate further, would you enjoy playing games like Elden Ring or God of War without a controller? Pretty sure the answer’s No for me! Similarly, you won’t enjoy grinding on a few videogames like Dota 2 or CS: Go with a controller in your hands. While it can turn out fine for some, it surely didn’t work out for me....

Following in the footsteps of other battle royale titles like Fortnite and Call of Duty‘s Warzone, PUBG continues to try and add backstory. Earlier this year, a few lengthy videos were released to add some lore to the PUBG IP. Those took shape as The Sanhok Tapes and Tragedy at Dinoland, and now PUBG Corp has released a brand new lore video. This one is called Mysteries Unknown – Paramo, and could well be hinting at a new map....

The battle royale trend is everywhere these days, and I guess it was about time that Superliminal should get one too. Except not really, because Superliminal is a puzzle game where you solve puzzles by moving objects around and playing with the camera’s perspective. That doesn’t really scream battle royale, but developer Pillow Castle gets points for creativity. It’s going to be interesting to see how Superliminal works as a battle royale game, now that an update has provided it as an additional game mode....

As we reported on back in December of last year, Ragnarok Game filed a lawsuit against the original developer of Rune 2, Human Head Studios. Its claim was that the studio abandoned the project on launch and then refused to provide the source code and assets for the game to let another developer finish it. Well, that lawsuit was amended today to point at even more parties that were allegedly involved in Rune 2‘s downfall....

Rainbow Six Siege is getting an update today, which lays the groundwork for alpha packs (aka. Loot boxes). Update 2.1.1 will also fix some bugs and tweak the game balance some more. The update will come to PC, PS4 and Xbox One today. This title update comes as part of Operation Health, the recent season for RB6, which is focused on balancing the game and tweaking issues to ensure the game is in a strong place going forwards....

Riverdale Season 3 Episode 6 “Leaving is my best option, it’s my only option” In the press lead up to this season, it was let slip in cast interviews that Archie wouldn’t stay in prison too long. That’s no surprise given how much more interesting the Gryphons & Gargoyles storyline and the promise of Farm mayhem to come are. What is something of a headscratcher however is the rapid nature of how swiftly Archie was exonerated for his crimes and Sheriff Minetta was put away (off screen, natch) for his general pain in the assery/witness coercion....

Blizzard has launched the newest map for hero shooter Overwatch, meaning Havana has moved from the Public Test Servers to the full release as of last night’s update. Havana is a new escort map, meaning you’ll be taking the payload through a ‘vibrant, historic port city where the winds of change blow strong’. The map features a sunny street scene with many colourful buildings and even sees the action move to a rum distillery before the final destination of the local sea port....

Blizzard Entertainment has announced a limited-time partnership with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, allowing players to help raise funds to combat the deadly disease by purchasing a new outfit. Overwatch has introduced a brand new skin into the mix, Pink Mercy, which is available to buy now until later this month. The best bit? 100% of all proceeds gathered from purchases of this outfit will be donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation....

Well, 2020 was certainly a year. And by year, I mean a runaway train careening into a silo of outhouses that have been lit on fire. However, one thing that the year-that-shall-not-be-named had going for it was great video games. There were a hefty number of quality games released in 2020 (dang it, I said it). A new patent has been unearthed for the PlayStation 5 controller, and it says that the device would offer players the option to modify the level of vibration (via Segment Next). This “vibration control apparatus” would work with a “vibration control section” to adjust the vibrational levels for each game, or in-game action. Sony has said time and time again that the PlayStation 5 would usher in a new era for the next generation, using custom-built eight core AMD Ryzen chipset and SSD storage system....

There are many regular moves that can outmatch Water Shuriken, it’s a multi-hit move with 15 power per hit.
