Overwatch 2 has revealed a release schedule for the upcoming second season of the popular FPS title. The announcement, which was posted on the official Overwatch Twitter account, detailed the release strategy for the next few weeks in preparation for the latest chapter’s launch on December 6. Most of the planned schedule focuses on disclosing more information about the newest Tank character, Ramattra. Additional details regarding what to expect in Season 2 will also be divulged later on....
The BlizzardWorld Overwatch map was revealed at BlizzCon last year and they are now just about ready to launch it. The map will go live on the servers on 23 January and players will be able romp around the new hybrid map theme park and check out all the Blizzard game themed areas. Not long now folks.
Blizzard Entertainment has announced a new Overwatch event called Ana’s Bastet Challenge, giving players the chance to hoover up some epic new rewards. Named after the Bastet short story, the challenge is available until January 21 across three modes: Arcade, Competitive, and Quick Play. There’s three rewards up for grabs, each one depending on the number of victories you can score Three wins will earn you the new player icon, six wins secures you the victory pose, while nine victories will net you the awesome-looking Bastet Ana Skin....

Krafton, the company behind PUBG: Battlegrounds and PUBG: Mobile, has filed a lawsuit against developer Garena, alongside Apple and Google, seeking damages for what it calls “rampant, wilful copyright infringement” by a number of games available on the iOS and Android app stores it considers to be PUBG clones. Specifically, Krafton (thanks TechCrunch) is targeting the continued availability of Garena’s Free Fire games - which it calls “thinly veiled unauthorised versions of Battlegrounds” - with the original Free Fire having already been the recipient of a legal challenge by the PUBG developer....
