We reported on the announcement trailer for Savior back in July, and the game showed a lot of promise. Today, developer Starsoft Entertainment announced a Kickstarter campaign for it. It’s already raised over $10K out of its $48K goal. The announcement also includes a new extended trailer, which you can see below, showing more pixelated art goodness. EA Origin is offering completely free access to Dragon Age: Inquisition multiplayer, plus six hours of game time with the single-player campaign. Multiplayer includes access to both multiplayer expansions, giving players the ability to explore the game world with friends – including the chance to take part in weekend multiplayer events to earn in-game rewards. Those taking a look at single-player will be able to carry any progress made over to the full game....

Bethesda has announced a free trial of Dishonored 2 for this Thursday, April 6. Available for PS4, Xbox One and PC, players will be able to play the first three levels of the game at zero cost, playing as either Empress Emily or her sad murder dad Corvo Attano. If you decide that you like Dishonored 2 (and you probably will, because it’s very good) you can upgrade to the full retail version and continue playing your campaign from the end of the trial....

Giovanni was the first leader of a criminal gang in the Pokémon series. Ever since the Her Interactive Nancy Drew games went downhill, I’ve been on the hunt for other point-and-click mystery games to fulfill the little Sherlock Holmes hole inside of me. While an NSFW game about anime princesses may not have been what I had in mind to fulfill this niche, I’m surprisingly delighted to say that this title might be the next game to try out for any avid mystery fans....

I love the Halloween aesthetic. You know, the really cartoony one with spooky trees and jack o lanterns. I also love platformers, so Pumpkin Jack became firmly embedded onto my radar when it was announced. The game, suffice to say, isn’t quite what I hoped for. It’s got very good visuals, mostly precise controls, and some variety in its gameplay, but it’s too simple, short, easy, and generic to really inspire the kind of enthusiasm that I wanted it to....

Ubisoft has provided an explanation for the reasoning behind the frankly huge 42GB patch that’ll soon be coming to Rainbow Six Siege for ultra HD PCs. While the update is large and may cause players to roll their eyes at the size, it’s all for a good reason. Ubisoft says its plan for the patch is to create the foundations for future game updates. According to a post on the game’s blog, ‘As a result of resetting the baseline, we must replace a significant number of the existing data forges....

The Legend of Zelda: Defenders of the Triforce, a Zelda-based escape room experience, will launch in the US early next year, Nintendo and escape room experts SCRAP have announced. Defenders of the Triforce is more than just an escape room, however. “Participants work in teams of six to solve a mystery in a huge area, all within a set time limit. The experience will let guests interact with classic items and characters seen in The Legend of Zelda series like the Goron, Zora and Kokiri tribes....

Though it had its problems at launch, Rockstar Games has applied a few fixes to Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC. Now, it’s definitely in better shape than it was, though a little more work is still needed. Thankfully, the team is aware of this, and they recently applied yet another patch to the game. Microsoft and Bethesda recently showed more of its team-based vampire co-op shooter Redfall. The extended look at gameplay during the Xbox & Bethesda Developer_Direct revealed yet another enticing look at enemies, abilities, and characters. However, one feature they failed to mention was the fact that Redfall will require an online connection for co-op and single-player experiences. Microsoft hasn’t had the best track record when it comes to games requiring an internet connection in order to play them....
