Paizo, publisher of the Pathfinder RPG series, has announced a new system-neutral open RPG license. The news is in direct response to recent controversy surrounding D&D owner Wizards of the Coast, which is facing a backlash over planned changes to monetising third-party content. Paizo promises its Open Gaming License (OGL) will be “open, perpetual, and irrevocable”. This review contains spoilers. 3.9 Schwanzkopf Preacher has introduced several very difficult opponents for Jesse Custer to get past. Some he can outfight, outshoot, outdrink. Others he has to out-think, which tends to be a lot of fun to watch. When you have a hero like Jesse, who is flawed but incredibly capable, it’s fun to watch him work his way through problems. We don’t get any fun animations, like we do when Tulip works out a couple of different plans to escape the bus to hell, but we can watch Jesse working his way through plans prior to executing them....

Blizzard has released a new patch for Overwatch that stops players with a bad reputation from using voice chat on Xbox One. Overwatch players with a reputation level at Avoid Me will no longer be able to use the game’s voice chat feature. Alongside the penalty of silence, all players with the Avoid Me reputation are grouped together in their own matchmaking pool. It’s probably best to dump the bad lot into their own area than have them ruining the game for others....
