Sony has officially revealed its design for the PlayStation VR 2 headset. In a detailed blog post, Sony showed off the the PSVR 2 in all its glory, along with the updated and final design of the PlayStation VR2 Sense controller. “You’ll notice the PSVR2 headset has a similar shape as the PSVR2 Sense controller, taking on a matching ‘orb’ look. The circular orb shape represents the 360-degree view that players feel when they enter the virtual reality world, so this shape captures it nicely,” Nishino wrote....

Baldur’s Gate 3 had its big unveiling yesterday at PAX East, complete with over an hour of gameplay footage and an absolutely wild opening cinematic video. PS4 players of Red Dead Redemption 2 will benefit from a partnership between Sony and Rockstar, enabling them to “get first access to earn select online content” in the game, Sony has announced. It’s been a while since we’ve seen anything of Rainbow Six: Quarantine but it seems like the upcoming three-person co-op shooter is still on track for its latest release date, although publisher Ubisoft may be considering a name change. As per the Blizzard forums, brand new players and accounts who’ve not connected their account to Battle.net will still need to provide a phone number. Nintendo’s latest fiscal year earnings report reveals that the Switch has shipped 2.74 million units worldwide.
