A pair of images allegedly showing the faces of two of Rainbow Six Siege’s upcoming DLC Operators has appeared online. The images (above left) are alleged to have leaked on 4Chan before being re-uploaded to Reddit, with the top image said to reveal one of the game’s new Canadian Operators, and the bottom showing a US Operator. The two images also bare a resemblance to concept art for two of four upcoming characters discovered in an official Rainbow Six Siege video earlier this week, suggesting they could be legit....

The producer on Capcom’s upcoming Resident Evil 2 remake has revealed it would be ‘interesting’ to see previous titles in the survival horror series revamped with an over-the-shoulder perspective. Speaking with the latest issue of Official PlayStation Magazine UK, Tsuyoshi Kanda was asked what other titles in the Resident Evil series he’d like to remake after Resi 2. In response, Kanda-san commented, ‘I think it would be interesting to provide over-the-shoulder versions of our other fixed-camera titles....

Resident Evil 4, 5 and 6 are all headed to PS4 and Xbox One later this year, Capcom has announced. Resident Evil 6 will be available first on March 29, with Resident Evil 5 following in summer and Resident Evil 4 in autumn. All three will be available digitally for £15.99 each, while a physical disc containing them all will be available exclusively in the Americas. Capcom has yet to reveal how the three games are being enhanced for current-gen consoles, but the announcement trailer suggests all three will support 1080p/60fps....

Ron Gilbert & Dave Grossman have spoken on how Return to Monkey Island will fit into the long-running adventure series’ timeline. The two were chatting in an extensive interview with Adventure Gamers, where they revealed some more details on the adventure. As revealed in the announcement, the game will take place between Monkey Island 2: LeChuck’s Revenge & Escape from Monkey Island. They’re the second and third entries in the series’ five-game timeline....

Indie god sim Reus is heading to PS4 and Xbox One on October 14, Soedesco has announced. The game will be available to purchase both physically and digitally, although I’m not yet sure on the price. First released on PC, Reus sees players taking control of four giants to help or hinder humanity, transforming the planet with their elemental powers. “The controller interface got a lot of attention, and you notice that,” Bas Zalmstra, co-founder of developer Abbey Games said speaking about the console versions....

Konami is to release PES 2016’s upcoming UEFA Euro 2016 DLC for free in an effort to win back the trust of fans following the blunders with last month’s player transfer Data Pack, the publisher has announced. While details on the content have yet to be revealed, all PES 2016 owners will be able to download the DLC free of charge upon its release, with a further Data Pack introducing the Maracana Stadium, new national team kits, club teams and an updated player roster set to arrive in early December....

Phil Harrison has left his position as corporate vice president in Xbox in Europe, Microsoft has confirmed in a statement given to GamesIndustry. “Following a successful tenure as Corporate Vice President in Xbox in Europe, Phil Harrison has chosen to pursue business interests outside of Microsoft,” reads a statement from Head of Xbox Phil Spencer. “Phil has been a distinguished leader for our European Xbox team – overseeing production at our award-winning European studios and making a substantial contribution to the Xbox business globally....

Yesterday, it became known that Microsoft is shutting down its Mixer streaming platform in favor of a partnership with Facebook Gaming.
