Fans of 1999’s Pokémon: The First Movie - Mewtwo Strikes Back will be excited to see Niantic’s plans for Pokémon GO to end the month of February. In celebration of the film’s CGI remake, Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution, coming to Netflix on February 27th, Armored Mewtwo will be making a return to the game, as well as the clone Pokémon that famously appeared in the movie. From Tuesday, February 25th at 4 pm EST, until Monday, March 2nd at 4pm EST, Armored Mewtwo will return to five star raids, while clone Pokémon, including Charizard, Venusaur, and Blastoise, will begin appearing in four star raids....

The Pokemon Company held a Pokemon Presents broadcast today, and the final announcement was a big one: the next generation of the series is arriving later this year, and the games will be called Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet. Tim Schafer and Double Fine’s next crowdfunded project, Psychonauts 2 is coming along well; having recently put together a playable slice showing off the sequel’s 3D platforming action. However, it seems it needs a little more time in the oven as despite us still being a few days away from 2018, it won’t make it out for its original estimation of sometime in that year. Announcing the news in their end of year update on Fig, Double Fine said ‘Now we are in full swing, we know a lot more about the size and scope of the game we are going to make, how long it will take us to make it, and the amount of time we need to make it be great....

Man I loved the first Red Faction game on PS2, back in the day when I was a true Sony boy, circa 2001. It was an awesome FPS, using developers Volition’s new Geo-Mod tech that rendered pretty much everything in the environment destructible and with its theme of Martian rebellion it was just like playing Total Recall.
