During Razer’s E3 2021 Keynote event, Razer CEO Min-Liang Tan unveiled the Razer Blade 14, calling it one of the most powerful gaming laptops with the best performance and thinnest design. Min stated that Razer Blade 14 is the “ultimate AMD gaming laptop” and for good reason. First off, the laptop is said to be the world’s most powerful 14-inch gaming laptop thanks to its strong CPU and GPU pairings....
So far, Rockstar hasn’t quite been able to grab the magic of Grand Theft Auto Online in Red Dead Online, but that hasn’t stopped the developer from trying. Since launch, the company has been rolling out regular updates to the game, adding plenty of new content to the Western RPG. Now, Rockstar is adding yet another new specialization for players to check out, The Moonshiner. The Moonshiner will become available on December 13th, allowing players to make their own bootlegging business and, eventually, even open up their very own speakeasy....
Capcom has offered a glimpse at the extra costumes available in Resident Evil 2’s Deluxe Edition, and Leon in particular looks to be channeling his inner Rick Grimes in one of his new outfits. The Deluxe Edition includes five new costumes (three for Claire and two for Leon), plus the Albert model Samurai Edge handgun and a retro soundtrack swap. There’s also a reversible cover letting you pick between Leon or Claire striking a dramatic pose in the pouring rain....
Poor Resident Evil 5. Considered the beginning of the end for the survival horror tradition of the Resident Evil series, most fans of the series pay it no mind and file it as the black sheep of the franchise. Well, I’m here to tell you that Resident Evil 5 really didn’t suck that bad and it didn’t ruin the series (Resident Evil 6 did that). In fact, Resident Evil 5 is actually pretty good....
Today, Blizzard released a new trailer showcasing the content coming with Overwatch 2’s Season 2. Of course, the new hero Ramattra (for whom you can check out the animated introduction and gameplay reveal) gets the lion’s share of the spotlight, but there is a lot more content coming with the new season. Ramattra himself is defined as a “tempo tank” as the gist of his gameplay is based on switching between his Omnic form and his time-limited Nemesis form....
Overwatch came charging out the blocks when it launched in May, racing to 15 million players as of the beginning of August. Blizzard has now announced that the game has reached the 20 million player milestone. Five million new players added in two months equates to 3424 players joining the game every hour. The new figure doesn’t mean Blizzard has sold 20 million copies of the game, nor do we know how many are actually active, but there’s no denying Overwatch is a bonafide smash hit that is likely to stick around for some time to come....
Blizzard has launched the latest in-game event in hero shooter Overwatch, announcing that from now until 2 December, players have chance to earn a whole bunch of new Mercy rewards in the Mercy’s Recall Challenge Event. As per the announcement, players can earn a player icon, eight sprays and a Legendary Dr Ziegler Mercy Skin by winning three, six and nine games respectively in Quick Play, Competitive and Arcade modes. In addition, six more sprays can be earned by watching Twitch streamers before, after or during matches for the duration of the event if they’ve linked their Twitch and Blizzard accounts....

A new patent from Sony suggests that the company is looking to use cloud technology as a backward compatibility option for PlayStation 5. The patent, which seems to have been discovered by Twitter user Renka_schedule, is odd. A translation of the text basically explains that video games from previous console generations can be stored and played through cloud gaming technology. At first glance, it doesn’t really seem like there is anything new about that concept....
The number of people subscribed to PlayStation Plus has dropped by two million over the past year, despite Sony’s big summer revamp of the service and the launch of several new pricing tiers. PlayStation Plus had 45.4 million subscribers as of 30th September this year, down more than two million from the 47.2 million signed up at the same point in 2021. Sony relaunched its PlayStation Plus subscription in June, when it split the service into three tiers and launched a Game Pass-style catalogue of games for those paying more....
The Wall Street Journal (via Polygon) is reporting that Sony is looking to get PlayStation VR headsets in arcades all over Japan. A ‘location-based entertainment’ task-force of sorts has been put in place by Sony Interactive Entertainment to seek out partners for its VR initiative, which includes virtual reality arcades. One of the main issues with all of the VR headsets on the market is that to really appreciate VR, you need to try it in order to appreciate what it can do....

The first will be called The Isle of Armor, while the second will be called The Crown Tundra. Both of them will bring brand new Pokémon, characters, and new cosmetic items to make your trainer and bike all that much more unique....
After its surprise appearance at last week’s Sony Press Conference at E3 2010, some of us have been led to wonder whether Portal 2 will be incorporating 3D technology or the PlayStation Move into its setup. The simple answer? No, it won’t. Speaking to CVG, a company representative for Valve told the website that; “We have no plans for [3D or Move] in this game right now.” Clearly, Valve are keeping the big guns for Half Life 3....

The hits keep on coming for PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds’ esports endeavors, as more cheaters have been identified and banned from the game, including some professional players. According to Kotaku, another wave of bans has swept across the competitive landscape of PUBG, which has claimed over 30,000 players and has upped its count of professional PUBG players to a total of fourteen since December. PUBG Corp. has not revealed the details of the program used by the cheaters – referring to it only as an “unauthorized program” – but we have learned that the hack uses a VPN method to read game data packets that are sent over the game’s servers, allowing cheaters to view opposing player locations on a second monitor....
Ubisoft has revealed the first details in its final season of Year Two content for tactical multiplayer shooter Rainbow Six Siege. Entitled White Noise, the new locale is an observation tower high above the skyline of Seoul. There’s also three new operatives included in the pack – a Polish operator from the GROM unit and an attacker and defender from the 707th Special Mission Battalion, who will have unique skills and new weapons at their disposal....
Developer Insomniac Games has confirmed it plans to release a patch to 2016’s Ratchet & Clank game next month to allow the game to run in 60FPS on PlayStation 5. After a somewhat trouble-laden (but eventually resolved) launch on Rockstar Launcher and Epic Games Store, Red Dead Redemption 2 is headed to Steam. Rockstar Games confirmed through its Twitter account that the hit sequel will arrive on Valve’s shop on December 5. Its price should be the same as it is at other shops, though there could be a launch discount. Is Red Dead Redemption 2 worth picking up on Steam?...
Bloody brawler Redeemer is heading to PlayStation 4, Switch, and Xbox One next month as Redeemer: Enhanced Edition, Buka Entertainment and Sobaka Studio have announced. Originally released on Steam back in August 2017, Redeemer arrives on current-generation consoles in all its gory glory packing a bunch of new features, including class selection, local co-op, and more based on user feedback.
