Valorant and League of Legends developer Riot Games’ CEO Nicolo Laurent is facing a new lawsuit filed by a former executive assisstant accusing him of sexual harassment, gender discrimination and wrongful termination. As reported by the Washington Post, the lawsuit was filed back in January by Sharon O’Donnell who accused Laurent of creating a hostile work environment through demeaning comments related to her gender and unwanted sexual advances including the claim that he would ask her to travel with him and work from his home while his wife was absent, even asking her if she “could handle him when they were alone at his house....

Riot Games has reached a settlement in the gender discrimination lawsuit levelled at the company last year, as announced in a statement posted by the publisher. The lawsuit claimed that Riot Games fostered a toxic working environment for female employees, citing the ‘ongoing sexual harassment, misconduct, and bias’ that stagnated the plaintiffs’ careers. This was corroborated in a report by Kotaku, in which 28 current and former employees described a ‘bro culture’ that would actively encourage sexist behaviour....

Blizzard’s Jeff Kaplan has been speaking during the latest Development Update video for hero shooter Overwatch, and it seems there’s going to be some tweaks to the established content release schedule this year. In the video, posted below, Kaplan reveals that the Summer Games event, which usually takes place during August, will arrive a little earlier this year, although there was no mention of specifically when. Also of note is that it’ll be undergoing some changes – with new week-long challenges that will take place alongside the usual shenanigans that, if completed, will offer some epic-tier bonus skins....

Project CARS 2, the sequel to Bandai Namco’s motorsport racer from 2015, is officially releasing in September this year. Project CARS 2 is expanding on Project CARS with new vehicles, locations, and motorsport classes. With Sony finally beginning to talk about PlayStation 5 in an official capacity, AMD has now chimed on the subject, discussing its partnership with the format holder and the ‘special sauce’ that powers it. Speaking with Jim Cramer, Lisa Su, CEO of AMD, spoke of how ‘proud’ the company is to be part of the PS5 package, although wouldn’t give any hints as to when the next-generation console will arrive in stores....
