Red Dead Redemption 2 is suffering from the sins of the Rockstar Games Launcher, but the developer has issued a troubleshooting guide and a patch that addresses the reported roadblocks (via Eurogamer). In some cases, the launcher won’t even start the game, which is mighty problematic. When players click ‘play’ on the Rockstar Games Launcher, it triggers an error that says, ‘Red Dead Redemption 2 exited unexpectedly.’ Complaints have mounted up and the developer has written a troubleshooting guide to go with the new patch for the dedicated software....

Overwatch might be getting its own version of hero bans within the next few weeks. The hit shooter developed by Blizzard Entertainment could potentially join the ranks of other competitive games that already use a similar system such as DOTA 2, Rainbow Six Siege, and League of Legends. Sony is preparing to unveil its next-generation console. The PlayStation 5, as it it’s officially called, will be Sony’s latest foray into gaming after dominating the current generation of consoles with the PS4. The real question is how the new console will perform against its immediate competitor, Xbox Series X, Microsoft’s own next-gen machine, which boasts powerful specs and a few interesting features. One of the best new features in Pokémon Sword & Shield is the Wild Area. Allowing players to freely roam a massive region and encounter Pokémon was a breath of fresh area for the franchise. Included in the Wild Area are Pokémon Dens, locations where Raid battles take place. There are a set number of Raid battles that appear each day, and they will reset naturally for various reasons — for example, at 00:00 every day new Raids appear....

Polar arrived on Netflix last week to less-than-stellar reviews. The consensus seemed to be that while the story itself was underwhelming and it felt a bit too early-00s for comfort, the film’s action was still decent, and no one appeared too angry to have spent two hours watching Mads Mikkelsen be at maximum Mads Mikkelsen. The streaming service’s movie, an adaptation of the Dark Horse graphic novel Polar: Came From The Cold by Victor Santos, leaves room for a sequel in the closing minutes, and there’s plenty of story left in Santos’ source material....

Even though many years have passed since Valve’s popular MOBA Dota 2 came out in 2013, it still receives substantial additions and content updates on a regular basis. Case in point, Dota 2 recently received a new playable hero in the form of the Primal Beast. Dedicated fans of the game no doubt recognize Primal Beast as a boss character from the “Aghanim’s Labyrinth: The Continuum Conundrum” game mode that debuted late last year....

You read that right, the previously teased Project W Resident Evil crossover for Dead by Daylight now has a full cinematic trailer showing off some of Albert Wesker’s fearsome power. There is no given release date, with the trailer only giving a “coming soon”. Albert Wesker’s look seems to be directly from Resident Evil 4, and very well could be what he will look like in the upcoming remake. As far as Resident Evil big bads go, Wesker is the absolute best....

The Capcom and Bandai Namco cross-over fighting game Project X Zone 2 for Nintendo 3DS will now launch in Europe early in 2016, a new trailer released by Bandai Namco has confirmed. The game had been lined-up for a European launch this autumn. The new trailer comes fresh from Japan Expo and shows off all the announced characters thus far and the new Mirage Cancel feature.
