Recently, Kotaku put out a report suggesting that Rockstar will soon release remasters of Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City on online stores. This report came as fans feverishly speculated over several rumors about the juggernaut open-world sandbox series. The potential existence of the aforementioned remasters has received particular attention, and Kotaku’s report only strengthened fans’ confidence that the remasters will indeed come soon....

Cooking at The Duke’s Kitchen in Resident Evil Village is the only way to boost your health bar, minimize harm while defending, and improve movement speed. Animals won’t resurrect after you’ve slaughtered and harvested their meat, so resources are limited in the village. Retro Studios, the team behind Metroid Prime and Donkey Kong Country Returns, once pitched a Zelda game for the Nintendo DS akin to Final Fantasy Tactics. This project was dubbed Heroes of Hyrule, and would not have had Link as the main character. Rather, the Hylian hero would have turned up as an NPC. Anyone who has watched Rick and Morty long enough knows that the show was originally a short created by Justin Roiland back in 2006 called The Real Animated Adventures of Doc and Mharti. Riot Games and Ubisoft have announced a partnership that’ll see the companies collaborating on a research project with the aim of creating “more positive gaming communities”. As explained in a blog post on Riot’s website, the project - which goes by the name Zero Harm in Comms - is the first step in a cross-industry initiative that’ll see the two companies working on a database to collect in-game data. This anonymised data - consisting of chat logs labelled by behaviours, from neutral to racist and sexist - will be used to better train AI-based preemptive moderation tools, helping them more effectively recognise and parse, and so detect and mitigate, disruptive behaviour in-game....

After teasing earlier in the week, Blizzard has seemingly unveiled the newest hero to be added to Overwatch, and it’s adorable. OK, the title and image above probably gives it away, but you still have to see the reveal to believe it. Parts of Grand Theft Auto 5’s stolen source code have leaked online, and swiftly been removed via copyright strike by Rockstar. The code in question is a string of scripting functions, as shared on reddit. It includes references to game elements like camera, graphics and cutscenes, as well as gangs and DLC. On its own, the leak isn’t particularly enlightening about the next game in the series, but Rockstar’s swift takedown proves the legitimacy of the recent leak....

Today Sony Interactive Entertainment announced the monthly games that will be granted to PlayStation Plus subscribers in August 2022 at no additional cost. Sony is starting off 2020 with a bang. For PlayStation Plus subscribers, the free games on other this month will be Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and Goat Simulator.
