To recap
Although the G6 is a subtle step rather than a giant leap ahead of its G5 predecessor, it comes in at a fairer price point and the extra features make it better value overall. Great touchscreen LCD and electronic viewfinder tech, speedy autofocus and decent image quality ensure it’s a great all-rounder, even though continuous autofocus won’t match up to a decent DSLR equivalent.
