Official PlayStation Magazine UK has reportedly published a partial set-list for the upcoming Guitar Hero 6. The set-list isn’t entirely too impressive, but it is partial, and there is a song of note that many fans of classic rock or music in general may be very surprised to set, but I’ll let you peruse the list below to see if you can spot it.

Here are the song you can expect:

  • “Children of the Gravy” by Black Sabbath “I’m Not Okay (I Promise)” by My Chemical Romance “Pour Some Sugar On Me” by Def Leppard “What Do I Get?” by Buzzcocks “If You Want Peace…Prepare for War” by Children of Bodom “Love Gun” by KISS “Chemical Warfare” by Slayer “Bohemian Rhapsody” by Queen “Uprising” by Muse “Paranoid” by Metallica & Ozzy Osbourne “Been Caught Stealing” by Jane’s Addiction “There’s No Secrets This Year” by Silversun Pickups “Sudden Death” by Megadeth “Bloodlines” by Dethklok “Waidmanns Heil” by Rammstein “Sharp Dressed Man” by ZZ Top “Dancing Through Sunday” by AFI “Fury of the Storm” by Dragonforce “Fascination Street” by The Cure

Did you spot it? I’ll let you read through it again, but you shouldn’t need to, the answer is Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody”. That’s right, one of the (arguably) greatest songs to ever be made is finally coming to a playable medium. I’m surprised it’s Guitar Hero, considering Rock Band released all those Queen songs a while back. I suppose this is why “Bohemian Rhapsody” wasn’t present in Rock Band, Activision must have snatched the rights up for it before Harmonix.

There are songs present that are sure to please all music fans. Being a classic rock fan myself, I’m glad to see “Sharp Dressed Man” and the strip club staple “Pour Some Sugar On Me”. I’m glad that Guitar Hero 6 is maintaining their original moniker by including songs that are guitar-based. Though, to be honest, I don’t think the band experience could be replicated as well as it can be in Rock Band, that’s just my opinion though.

Any songs you particularly want to see in Guitar Hero 6 when it comes out? Whenever that may be.
