We could discover what Assassin’s Creed creator Patrice Desilets is working on tomorrow when he delivers a keynote at the Reboot Develop event in Dubrovnik, Croatia.
“Right now in Munich, between two planes, jet lag, putting final touch on my presentation for #RebootDevelop…” the Panache Digital co-founder tweeted.
Video game executive Kevin Dent replied: “Will it involve the words ‘and my next project will be…..’” to which Desilets added, “there’s a good chance, yes…”
The keynote takes place tomorrow at 10am and is titled ’15+ years of AAA game development: what now?’.
According to Panache Digital’s website, the studio makes “AAA quality third-person action-adventure games, with a narrative twist. We’re not a ‘me-too’ company. We don’t do trendy game models or content.
“We promise to deliver the very best quality experiences that our fans will enjoy.
“We value stepping out of the boundaries, doing things with Panache. We value beauty, originality and fun. We value growth, in our ideas, in our minute-to-minute execution, in our teams. We value our fans and what they say, what they feel. We value dialogue throughout all productions.”
And if a talk from Desilets doesn’t get you excited, Peter Molyneux is set to give a a talk the following morning titled “Evolving from console to mobile game production – challenges, lessons learned and future predictions”.
