Starbreeze has declared that 2023 will be “the Year of Payday 3” as it formally revealed a logo for the heist-em-up and an intention to release the game this year.
The third entry in the multiplayer heist series has been in the works for some time, so fans are surely eager to find out when they can finally get their hands on the game.
Payday 3 predicted release date
At the time of writing, Starbreeze has said that Payday 3 will release at some point in 2023 – but it’s not being any more specific than that just yet.
The game will also be available on PlayStation and Xbox – and Starbreeze are reassuring fans that it’ll be the “same game” no matter what format you buy on.
However, it’s not yet confirmed if the game will be available just on the newer Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 consoles, or if PS4 and Xbox Ones will be able to join in.
PC fans, meanwhile, can already add the game to their Wishlist on Steam by visiting the newly launched Steam Store Page for the game.
Presumably, we’ll hear more about the game in the coming months – and hopefully a release date. We will keep you in the loop when we know more.
