Atlus has announced (via Dualshockers) that its much-celebrated JRPG, Persona 5, has now shipped 1.5 million copies worldwide.

The Japanese developer-cum-publisher’s thoughts on streaming hasn’t deterred those in the West it seems, but this number will be a bit more interesting once we know how many copies of Persona 5 have actually ended up in the hands of customers.
