PewDiePie has returned from his month-long vacation, and his first demand is to have Elon Musk put Pickle Rick on a rocket.
It’s more like his second week back, but PewDiePie has returned to making near-daily YouTube videos, and this week’s LWIAY is a return to form. PewDiePie is groomed, lubricated (via whiskey), and ready to imbibe the internet’s madness while also further contributing to it.
Which is better than his last LWIAY, where he mostly just kept putting medical masks on his head in order to prevent getting COVID-19. Here’s hoping a nurse contacted him with proper mask etiquette.
Anyway, the biggest takeaway from PewDiePie’s February 28th video was the part where he discovered Elon Musk’s tweet about placing a mural of Alita Battle Angel on a SpaceX rocket. We’re not too sure if this tweet was real or merely aspirational, as Musk has been known to troll his followers from time to time (although the Teslamobile seems like he’s trolling everyone and not just his followers).
Musk is also known to enjoy anime, of which Alita Battle Angel originally comes from. The movie did alright in theatres, although it was criticized by fans for straying a little too far from the source material and ending with an obvious opening for a sequel.
PewDiePie didn’t see Alita Battle Angel, but he loved the idea of her likeness being shot into space. But he does have a better idea for the next SpaceX rocket mural: Pickle Rick.
“Do a Pickle Rick next time, Elon! Do it!” PewDiePie shouted at the camera, before waxing poetic about the beauty of such an image being shot into space.
“If I see a Pickle Rick on an Elon Musk Rocket, I would be like… well, in general, I question if existence is worth it. Pain usually out measures pleasure. But there was Pickel Rick on a rocket once, so I think humanity was worth it.”
So far, Musk has yet to respond to PewDiePie’s request, but we’ll be sure to keep you informed if these two great memelords create such an abomination.
