Sony’s press conference at Paris Games Week takes place on October 30 this year and promises some ‘big game announcements,’ according to a tweet from the PlayStation Europe account. PlayStation Live from Paris Games Week, as it’s snappily called, is set to kick off at 15:00 GMT on the day.

There will also be a post-show event after the briefing and, while details are scarce at this point in time, we can only guess that’s where some extra info on the highlighted titles, as well as some of the offerings that don’t make it on the big stage. Previously, Sony appeared at the 2015 PGW to unveil Detroit: Become Human, Tekken 7 and Vector from music artist Avicii. Yes, the same Avicii that brought the world Wake Me Up. Haven’t heard much about his game in a while, though…

Anyway, with Sony opting for a more muted Gamescom and many disappointed by the platform holder’s E3, Paris Games Week is expected to be a decent showing for PlayStation. It’s the last opportunity the publisher has to show off any trailers or make any announcements to a large room full of people before PlayStation Experience in December, so here’s hoping.
