The monthly and three-monthly pricing for PlayStation Plus subscriptions will soon receive price hikes in the UK, Sony Computer Entertainment has confirmed.
The specifics of the new pricing haven’t been revealed, although annual subs will hold at the current £39.99.
The new pricing comes into effect from September 1, with Sony noting that the increases are “in line with market conditions”.
In the UK, one month PS Plus access will currently cost you £5.49, with three months costing £11.99. For comparison, one month of Xbox Live Gold will cost you £5.99, with three months setting you back £14.99. An annual membership costs £39.99, the same as PS Plus.
It wouldn’t be a surprise to see Sony’s pricing to be brought in-line with Microsoft’s.
