Today Sony Interactive Entertainment and Destiny developer Bungie announced that the studio is being acquired by the house of Playstation.
Interestingly, Bungie shared that they will continue to “independently publish and creatively develop” its games, targeting “fans across multiple platforms and entertainment mediums.”

This follows Microsoft’s recent announcement of the acquisition of Activision Blizzard, which previously published Bungie’s Destiny franchise.
