It’s the season if giving, and what better way to celebrate the holidays than by claiming a bunch of free stuff in Nintendo’s Pokémon Sword & Shield at the moment? Every Pokémon player already knows that if they want to catch the Pokémon of their choice, they will need to use Poké Balls to get the job done. However, the free Poké Balls are very special this time around and are sure to help many players out with their effects.
Whether players love him or hate him, there’s no denying that Ball Guy from Pokémon Sword and Shield has some sort of cult following behind him. Whether it’s his charismatic nature, or the fact that he is somewhat generous, talking to this charming character is sure to get players a bunch of special Poké Balls during playthroughs. But now it seems that the character is feeling extra generous, and right as Christmas and New Year are around the corner.
Currently, there is an event going on in Japan that deals with some sort of rally regarding Ball Guy. If players complete the event, everyone will receive various prizes in Pokémon Sword and Shield.
Although the rally event isn’t active for western players (yet), they can still redeem the Japanese prizes via Mystery Gift codes. As for what the prizes are, they are various Poké Balls that can only be received once in the main games. In other words, the event is perfect to stock up on extra special Poké Balls. The following set of codes will net players the following Poké Balls:

Players will be able to redeem the codes until January 15, 2020, which means there is more than enough time to get one’s hands on these unique Poké Balls. Additionally, considering the fact that such Poké Balls are somewhat rare in the main games, these free ones are a perfect opportunity in every way.
