Pokemon GO’s holiday events have been underway all month, but that doesn’t mean Niantic is out of surprises yet. The latest addition to the parade of December events, bonuses, and special offers comes in the form of two new Boxes in available in the in-game store.
The mobile AR game has a long tradition of limited-time offers on Boxes of items in the in-game shop and the quality of these boxes has varied a lot over the years. The cost in comparison to the usefulness of the items in each Pokemon GO box should be considered carefully before committing to any purchase. Luckily, this winter offers one of the best deals of the year.
There are two boxes available this time: The winter box and the Ultra box. Both boxes offer a good value, but players looking to get the most bang for their buck (or Coin) will likely be more excited about the contents of the Ultra box…

Twenty Raid Passes is obviously going to be the main number that jumps out when comparing the two new boxes. That’s a great deal on the one-time use Passes and players will be able to either use them now for the ongoing Ho-Oh and Luiga Raid Weekend or save them for upcoming events or the next Legendary rotation.
