While there are a lot of changes in this game, obviously catching, training, and evolving Pokemon is still a critical part of the gameplay. If you’re here, you’re probably wondering how to evolve Stantler into Wyrdeer Pokemon Legends Arceus. Here’s how to get this new evolution for a classic Johto Pokemon.
Evolving Stantler in Pokemon Legends Arceus
Stantler for years has been sort of a forgotten Pokemon. While its design and personality hinted at Psychic power until Pokemon Legends Arceus it never actually got to fulfill that potential. That changes now in the latest Pokemon game.
Stantler has finally received an evolution that makes it a far more interesting Pokemon with increased base stats and a pretty rare Normal/Psychic typing. In fact, Stantler’s evolution Wyrdeer.
Stantler doesn’t just evolve on its own though like other Pokemon, you have to do something a bit unique to get it to evolve into Wyrdeer.
Agile Style Psyshield Bash
To evolve Stantler, you need to first level it up until it gets to level 21 and learns the move, Psyshield Bash. Make sure to change your moves so you actually have it equipped. You may need to level a little further until 28 when you have Psyshield Bash mastered or pay the Move Tutor to master it earlier.
Then, use Psyshield Bash 20 times using Agile Style. Once you’ve done this, Stantler will be ready for evolution and you can turn it into a Wyrdeer.
