Nintendo has filed trademarks for two unannounced Pokemon titles: Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon.
The filings were spotted on the EU trademark database by Nerd Leaks and feature the two games’ logos, suggesting they could be legit. Expect them both to be announced during Nintendo’s Pokemon Direct broadcast tomorrow afternoon.
Pokemon celebrates its 20th anniversary this Saturday, February 27, with the first three games in the series, Pokemon Red, Blue and Yellow all due to hit Nintendo 3DS tomorrow. Fighting game spin-off Pokken Tournament, meanwhile, hits Wii U next month.
Nintendo says that it will have more on “the latest on Pokemon” during tomorrow’s Direct.
