Ps Vr Will Offer A Cinematic Movie Experience With A 5 Meter Screen

Did you know that in addition to offering users a virtual reality gaming experience, PlayStation VR will place users into their very own home cinema?

In Cinematic Mode users will be sat 2.5 meters away from a virtual screen up to 225 inches (5 meters in width). Sony notes that the screen size will feel different depending on the user, but that’s still a pretty big screen when you’d usually be staring at a something in the range of 32-55 inches.

Sadly you won’t get the 4K image quality of your local cinema, but PS VR will offer 960×1080 per eye.

Supported content for Cinematic Mode includes standard PS4 games and videos, along with other PS4 features including Share Play and Live from PlayStation.
