PlayStation Plus Vote to Play, the new system from Sony that allows PS4 members to vote for their next free PlayStation Plus game, will get underway at 4:30pm this Thursday, August 14, Sony has announced.
PS Plus members will be able to vote from a selection of three games – Armello, Grow Home and Zombie Vikings – with the winner available for free from September 1. The two runners-up will also be available at a discounted price on PlayStation Store.
To cast your vote, just head to PS4’s What’s New, Notifications or PlayStation Store from Thursday. But don’t worry if you mess it up: you can always log back in and change your selection before voting closes.
I’ll be voting for Grow Home, Ubisoft’s cutesy action platform that sees a robot exploring a mysterious open world. But, you know, go ahead and vote for whatever you want. As long as Grow Home wins I don’t care.
It’s worth remembering that Vote to Play will only be available at certain points throughout the year and won’t take place each month. The winner of the first vote, meanwhile, will be announced on August 24, with the game available for free from September 1.
And if you hadn’t yet worked it out, yes, it also means that Grow Home is coming to PS4, even if Ubisoft hasn’t officially announced it yet…
