Rainbow Six Siege will feature support for Nvidia GameWorks, promising players enhanced graphics and improved image quality thanks to advanced anti-aliasing and ambient occlusion methods.

Nvidia also confirms that a GTX 460 with 1GB VRAm should offer a 60 FPS multiplayer experience with the visuals set to low at a 720p resolution. The PvE Terrorist Hunt mode will run at 30 frames per second.

If you want high quality visuals with GameWorks features enabled then you’ll need a GTX 960 to run at 1080p, or a GTX 970 if you want to bump the resolution to 2560×1440.

Those looking to upgrade should also note that for a limited time you can get a free copy of RB6 Siege with qualifying Nvidia graphics cards – be sure to check buying the game and graphics card separately isn’t cheaper.

Rainbow Six Siege launches December 1 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
