Fellow Microsoft studio Rare has showed its support to Lionhead following last week’s news that the developer is to close.
In a tweet posted earlier this afternoon, Rare quoted an earlier tweet from Lionhead with the message: “

In the original tweet, Lionhead described last week as a “tough week” after Microsoft announced plans to shut the studio, before thanking fans for their “overwhelming show of love & support”.
Shortly after the announcement, Xbox chief Phil Spencer said that he wasn’t sure he was “so loved right now”, but reassured fans that Xbox will continue.
The closed beta of Lionhead’s final game, meanwhile, Fable Legends, will remain online until April 13.
