The Microsoft Store is currently holding a massive sale on Capcom games for the Xbox One. The best part about Microsoft’s sale is that it includes recently released titles from Capcom’s biggest franchises including Resident Evil, Monster Hunter, and Devil May Cry. Players interested in grabbing a game or two should act immediately given that Microsoft’s Capcom Publisher sale will only be available this weekend.
Headlining Microsoft’s sale is the highly-successful 2019 remake of Resident Evil 2. The game is available for $19.79, which is 67% off its original list price of $59.99. Microsoft’s huge discount on Resident Evil 2 is the perfect opportunity for players who still haven’t played the game, especially since Resident Evil 3 Remake is nearing its release date and will hit the PC and consoles in April 3, 2020.

Meanwhile, Capcom recently revealed new masterminds and maps for its upcoming 4v1 multiplayer game, Resident Evil Resistance. In a tweet sent out by the developer, it has been revealed that Ozwell E. Spencer, one of Umbrella’s founders, and Alex Wesker, will be joining the Mastermind ranks in the upcoming game that will be included in Resident Evil 3 remake.
Moreover, Capcom also revealed recently that the story of Resident Evil Resistance will not be included in the franchise’s established canon. Of course, this information doesn’t come as a surprise given that Resident Evil Resistance is being marketed as a spin-off title, similar to the Mercenaries series that was previously available as a separate game mode in past Resident Evil games.
